I live overseas and every time I pay a bill or change my password, an sms gets sent to my Greek mobile. I DONT LIVE IN GREECE, yet you won’t accept my Australian number or other form. This is 2026. Get with the program!!!

After viewing my account details this morning, I went to log off as usual.

Instead of logging off, the app switched so I could view someone else’s account. 
Can others view my account?

This needs fixing ASAP!
Good thing I’m honest, the account I viewed had lots of money.

I can’t think of one thing I’ve tried to do that worked smoothly. And now logging in issues make it virtually impossible to use, to the point of considering I probably have to change banks - only unfortunately everyone in Greece seems to do business with Alpha almost exclusively which makes them convenient for settling up direct debits etc.

So every 3 months it will require password change (any new types of security you should know about guys? TSB has never asked me to update it and I have an account with them 12 years). Then requires you to enter a new password and confirm it (so adding 2 steps) and THEN it decides your current password is incorrect 🤔 So adding up to …entering various passwords for an eternity. When the current password is incorrect there is no direction as you what you are supposed to do. Just the same page expecting you to add a password. All of this when you have activated face recognition 😳and you have various other pins and account numbers to remember.
End result I’m locked out of my account? Or am I not? Who knows. In any case I have no idea what to do but can’t access it

Προσπαθώ να ανεβάσω pdfs κ το σύστημα δε λειτουργεί. Με ενημερώνει το σύστημα ότι μετά τα μέσα Μαΐου θα μπλοκάρουν οι συναλλαγές λόγω μη επικαιροποίησης στοιχείων… πως να προχωρήσω όταν δε λειτουργεί το σύστημα σας;

I have had to install and uninstall the app as I am not getting the OTP notifications - called Alpha and was told to download Viber - but that shouldn’t be a requirement. Vodafone U.K. have confirmed there is no block and I have had intermittent service. I know of more users in the U.K. facing the same issue - disappointing that we can’t get the right service.

Alpha bank is for years failing to transform to real usable digital. Every time I use this I fail to login and it takes me into loops of authentication that are impossible to resolve. In the end the transactions are paid for and it doesn’t work on weekends of holidays. I would avoid at all costs. Deleted

Hey, update the app please as there is currently a bug that asks for personal details update via taxis and it gets stuck to a login loop where I receive a ton of pin texts to verify and then because of the amount of times i tried to login ( not me your system) it gets locked out because of three unsuccessful tries!! I mean come on? also the other annoying thing your app does is asking for password reset when your in a middle of a transaction ? really? like really really? you could give the option to postpone for later ?!!!

This is just another example of really buggy banking app that gives you frustration and poor user experience from. They Reset your password every few of months so it’s impossible to get in. Half the times password reset doesn’t work when you can’t remember your username because it’s 15 digit number (gosh!). Then try to make a transfer! Absolute nightmare that you pay for on the top, if it ever works! 
Well it’s 2024, challenger banks are coming for you Alphabank.

Might be good for Greece, not sure though if that good, Eurobank’s is on a different level and have not used NBG and Piraeus

For European standards is by far the worst I have used. Bad performance, unfriendly UI and multiple clicks required for a user to achieve task when in other EU bank apps it’s done in half the time effort.

As for the push notifications for approval when redirected from other providers it never works. 
Fundamental issues of getting codes when using non Greek numbers, still using viber - obsolete practices. Even worse when in Greece with foreign mobile number not even Viber works and customer success evidently don’t have a triage/troubleshoot plan, they blame the foreign provider

Πως είναι δυνατόν να φτιάχνεται μια εφαρμογή και να μην σκέφτεστε τις ανάγκες του πελάτη;; Μόνο ότι βολεύει σε σας; Ανεβάζω το Ε1 ΜΟΝΟ σε PDF που ζητάει για τη δημιουργία νέου λογαριασμού και μου λέει ότι ο τύπος φακέλου δεν αναγνωρίζεται 🤣🤣. Γιατί ρε ντουγάνια μόνο σε PDF? Μια φωτό δηλ δεν κάνει; Και γιατί δεν το αναγνωρίζει;; Πληρώσατε φυσικά εκατομμύρια για να γλιτώσετε του μισθούς των υπαλλήλων και για διώχνετε πελάτες 👍

The promo says in English that I can create a new bank account with this app. After going through all registration steps it asks to upload my passport — and only EU countries are available. If they don’t support non EU citizens they could’ve stated it from the beginning!
