## What is MyAssetManager?

My Asset Manager helps families track everything they own across individuals, joint ownership, and household-shared property.

Built for iPhone and iPad, the app gives a clear dashboard view of total net worth, member allocation, category breakdowns, and household common assets. Add and edit family members, maintain detailed asset records, and attach supporting photos and PDF statements to each asset.

All portfolio data stays on your device. No account signup or cloud service is required.

**Dashboard & insights**

**Ownership-aware asset tracking**
- Individual — one member (401(k), personal accounts)
- Joint — selected co-owners (joint savings, shared investments)

**Asset categories**
Real estate, vehicles, bank accounts, investments, retirement, insurance, jewelry & valuables, electronics, collectibles, and more.

**Rich asset records**
- Value, currency, purchase date, location, and notes
- Account & login details: institution, account/policy number, website, username, contact info
- Passwords stored securely in iOS Keychain (never written to CSV exports)
- Multiple photos per asset (up to 20)
- PDF statement attachments with in-app preview and share (up to 15 per asset, 30 MB each)

**Backup, import & share**
- First-launch welcome: import a prior CSV backup or start fresh
- Dashboard import anytime via **Import CSV Backup**
- Export re-importable CSV backup or CSV + PDF summary report
- Share backups via AirDrop, Mail, and the iOS share sheet

**Note:** CSV and PDF exports include portfolio metadata (members, assets, values, account fields). Attached photos and PDF statements remain on-device and are not included in CSV/PDF backup files.
