### 2/5 — Outdated

The app is a relatively good companion for the course but lacks many essential functional features. It's not designed do the hybrid course through it and one has to switch between the web, the app, and the handout all the time.

### 2/5 — Needs updating

*2020-08-25, version 2.4*

Please you really should not bring out a new edition of the book unless you are going to appropriately support it. Update the app along with the book. Don’t make reference in the book to the app.
Also some of the functions in the app do not work.
Please update your app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great for us non surgeons

*2021-03-03, version 2.5*

I’ve been certified in ATLS since ‘93 or so, and this tool makes it easier to keep up with the content that I do not practice every day. I work on sidelines of sporting events where trauma might occur, so I feel very confident that a could handle any situation.

### 5/5 — Update

### 5/5 — Amazingly helpful

*2017-04-29, version 2.1*

This has been an amazingly helpful app. A definite bonus to have and be able to utilize when you really need it. Much easier to have around than the paper textbook. So glad that they finally came out with this app.

### 5/5 — Excellent review and study guide

*2016-01-20, version 2.1*

I have found this app to be an invaluable study companion and guide as I work my way though the text in preparation for the course. Having a second source which re emphasizes the salient points in the text is wonderful.
I am now thinking that this should be done with the ACLS.

### 4/5 — Chicago ATLS forgets Critical Access Hospitals

*2021-12-21, version 2.5*

The Chicago course kept forgetting that rural and critical access hospitals don’t have on call specialists or surgeons. They focused the class on large facilities with resources “Call down your Pediatric Neurosurgeon right away”.
We don’t have a Pediatric Trauma surgeon or an upstairs to call them down from.
I liked the courses that were further away and remembered the purpose of ATLS.

### 4/5 — Good reference , has quality videos

*2021-03-22, version 2.5*

The app provides GCS AND BURN BODY SURFACE AREA calculator

### 4/5 — Good but behind

*2019-10-01, version 2.4*

Helpful app but should be updated promptly to the latest course edition
