Much more than the standard app. Definitely worth having, even if a bit pricey. My problem is that I forget the meaning of the little icons. I've stumbled across a way of showing the legend but can't find it again, and the help screen is not so easy to use. Also, can't find any info on how to use Apple Watch screens that are shown here. ### 2/5 — Widget never works properly *2026-07-08, version 4.9.0* I have two Netatmo base station. One home and one in office. Widgets works perfecr for home station but never show values for second Netatmo. In application there is all values. I found it so obtuse that there was no information about what features were available in the free version and which are premium, nor was there anything about how much it costs for premium. Finally I just downloaded it t. It was difficult to install on both iPhone and iPad; had to force-close and restart a couple of times just to get through the install and verification process. I forgot to switch from centigrade to Fahrenheit on my phone before I added the app to my watch. After switching on the phone I couldn’t get the switch to show on my watch until I removed it and added it again. A lot of frustration and I wasn’t even using it yet. But that was nothing compared to the annoying messages for upgrading. It was really unusable. I deleted it. I would have been willing to upgrade if the free version was at all usable but limited. This approach feels deceptive. There really isn’t a free version that’s tolerable so why give the impression there is? ### 2/5 — Good but expensive *2022-10-18, version 4.6.0* Very good app. Provides nicer graphs than official app, but does not actually provide any special additional functionality. Now paid as subscription. 150 CZK / 6 EUR per 6 months (or 230 CZK / 9 EUR per year) is far too much for such a kind of application. I would assume 8 EUR enough as one time price although I purchased 6 months (I don't think I will extend the subscription.) ### 5/5 — Vraiment parfaite *2022-08-04* Application complète et de très grande qualité. Endlich Netatmo-Daten auf der Watch und das sehr übersichtlich. Leider braucht es meist sehr lange, bis die Komplikation auf der Watch aktualisiert wird, wenn man den Screen der Watch aufweckt. Oft bedarf es einen Klick darauf, um die Daten zu aktualisieren. Optisch sehe ich noch Optimierungsbedarf; was für mich aber ein Dealbreaker ist: da das Abo nicht Selbstverleugnung ist, kann man es nicht innerhalb der Familie teilen. Für meine Frau und mich müsste ich also zwei Abos abschließen und das steht für mich definitiv nicht mehr im Verhältnis zum Nutzen. Ich bin raus... *2022-12-12, version 4.6.2* Die App ist gut, aber das war sie auch schon vorher, als nicht ständig dran herumgebastelt wurde. Seit der (m.M.n. rechtswidrigen) Umstellung auf das Abo-Modell aber auch VIEL ZU TEUER. Ich bin, wie viele anderen User auch, bereit für eine gute App auch was zu bezahlen. Aber nicht immer und immer wieder! Da die Entwickler aber auch gut verdienen wollen würde ich vielleicht zähneknirschend auch ein Abo-Modell tolerieren, aber vielleicht für 3-5 Euro im Jahr. Jedes Jahr 10,- EUR nur damit ich meine Wetterstationsdaten in schön bunt habe ist mir entschieden zu viel. Da bieten andere Apps deutlich mehr für weniger oder sogar gar kein Geld. Zu diesem Preis und diesem Abrechnungsmodell kann ich die App keinesfalls mehr empfehlen. Ich bereue nun sogar meine Spenden für die Entwickler... Leider... UPDATE: nun wird immer weiter an der Preisschraube gedreht. Nochmal 50% Preiserhöhung von 10 auf 15 € ist mir entschieden zu viel. Dafür ist mir der Nutzwert dieser App viel zu niedrig. Im Gegensatz zu den Benzinpreisen kann ich hier auf eine bunte und inzwischen überladene App verzichten. Zum Glück gibts kostenlose Alternativen wie Sand am Meer. Und tschüß. Ich bin dann mal weg. Meldet Euch wieder wenn Ihr die App wieder preiswerter anbietet. ### 1/5 — horrible update experience *2021-09-19, version 4.4.0* The app is great, and I appreciate the developer's need to make money, but an update that suddenly pastes a big dialog over the update to beg for premium subscriptions shows a total lack of class. The dialog can only be dismissed for 30 seconds, making it unusable for free use. My one “future features request” is to be able to customize what the “rain year” can be. Yes, you can go in and find date-to-date in search,and get very accurate data, but the default “year” on the home page is from “01 Jan - 31 Dec”. I’d like an option to be able to change the home page “year” to match the US NWS rain year that runs from “01 Oct - 30 Sep” Thanks! ### 5/5 — Ständig neue Authentifizierung nötig - gelöst! *2024-07-21* Seit einigen Wochen ist die App unbrauchbar. Muss teilweise mehrfach täglich authentifiziert werden, sonst keine Daten einsehbar und keine aktuelle Anzeige auf den Widgets! Sollte das so bleiben, ist die App inkl. Abo obsolet. War vorher super gut und stabil. Update: Problem ist inzwischen durch Updates gelöst worden, so nun volle 5 Sterne - weiter so! ### 5/5 — Besser geht es nicht *2024-07-13* Seit über zwei Jahren ist die App im Einsatz, es ist immer wieder eine Freude, diese App zu öffnen. Mir fällt nichts ein, was man an dieser App verbessern könnte. Unglaubliche Auswertungsmöglichkeiten, alles sehr übersichtlich angeordnet, sehr professionell. Man merkte App an, dass der oder die Entwickler:innen mit Herzblut dabei sind. Her möchte ich die Umsetzung der Netatmo Karte in einer eigenen Karte mit diversen Auswertungsmöglichkeiten. Dagegen wirkt die native Netatmo App wie aus der Steinzeit. Toll. Weiter so. Ich nutze sie nunmehr seit 5 Jahren und bin einfach begeistert. Da sitzen offensichtlich permanent Leute an der Entwicklung / Weiterentwicklung, die wissen, was möglich ist und dieses dann auch realisieren. Die App ist in ihrer Übersichtlichkeit mustergültig, in der Anwendung völlig selbsterklärend, liefert auf Wunsch eine unglaubliche Informationstiefe und hinterlegt über Jahre - für mich sehr wichtig - alle gemessenen Wetterdaten, die der Nutzer individuell aufbereiten kann. Die Daten stehen bei schnellem Internet innerhalb von Sekunden aktuell zur Verfügung. Benotung: 1++++++++++++++ Vielen Dank an diese tolle, fähige Truppe! ### 5/5 — Läuft derzeit einwandfrei *2023-05-23* Aktuell läuft die App einwandfrei. Vorsichtshalber habe ich meine bisherige Bewertung unten stehen gelassen. Nur für den Fall, dass sich daran wieder etwas ändert. — Diese App könnte so gut sein, wenn sie fehlerfrei funktionieren würde. Die Fehler meiner Vorgänger - erneut aufzuzählen, erspare ich mir. Was jedoch überhaupt nicht geht, ist, dass das auf dem iPhone abonnierte Premium-Abo auf dem iPad nicht erkannt wird. Geräte-Neustart und Wartezeit lasse ich mir noch gefallen. Aber die restlichen, in den FAQ aufgeführten Punkte, wie Abmelden von der iCloud etc. das ist wohl eher ein schlechter Witz.
