When the Engine has started or stopped, there's no way for you to get a notification. What is the use of the app if we can't be alerted by getting a notification. Also, the car location cannot be opened on Google maps. That's such a basic option again. Forget about advanced features which it anyway doesn't have, please get the basics right atleast. This hands down is as good as any Nigerian company can be! It shows “add new” car. If I try to add again, it gives error or says that the car is already associated with my account. The car parameters are basic and doesn’t give details about fuel or tire pressure. Not really happy with the features, UI. A lot of fixes are required. For ex. Whenever my car is out of my society or at home it shows the same message your vehicle is out of home boundary. Rather it should be outside home boundary when it’s out and inside when it’s in. For a brand like Audi, I expected a much more refined and feature rich digital experience. Unfortunately the app offers extremely limited functionality which any other third party OBD devices do offer. The app interface is plain and good but doesn’t add any meaningful convenience or value to the ownership experience. It’s more like a placeholder than a thought out product. The only working features are, current location of the car, trip data, fuel level and distance to empty, odo reading, battery, intake and coolant temp. Would have wished to have more features like car lock/unlock status, remote engine start, send map directions to MMI, and remote ambient temp setting. Coming to Navigation, the HERE maps is neither accurate nor user friendly. You truly need to move out of this service for the sake of users. No Live traffic, searching a destination is a pain. Map my India could have been a much better option. The MMI doesn’t even have a feature to link the My Audi profile and it just creates a local user. Coming from a competitor brand to Audi, this app feels two to three generations behind in terms of connected features.
