Also my CONNECT PLUS and NAV subscriptions aren’t showing. Audi please hire some actual professionals to fix this mess. I’ve been loyal to your brand since 2002 and have 6 Audis right now but seriously considering switching to BMW ### 4/5 — Mike *2026-08-26, version 5.6.1* App is great, however suddenly I’m not getting lock information; I may be wrong but appears to coincide with recent update ### 1/5 — Experiencing Issues *2026-08-25, version 5.1.0* The app was working fine before and I don’t know if it’s the update, but the app immediately closes when I try to open it. It displays the Audi four rings logo and closes and the same problem occurs when you plug in the charging cable in the car where it use to open to refresh the fuel tank level and mileage details on the app but that doesn’t even work too and it closes immediately. ### 1/5 — Broken… again *2026-08-24, version 5.6.1* “Consistently fast and reliable”? No. About two months ago iOS widgets stopped working properly. They don’t update unless you open the app first to pull new data. After two months of back and forth with ‘support’ providing the same screenshots again and again and completing the same diagnostics repeatedly they tell me the app is working ‘as designed’ and opening the app to refresh the widgets is expected behaviour. Absolute rubbish and a complete fob off for what is quite an expensive service. The car itself is great but I am bitterly disappointed with the ‘connected services’ and the support that goes with it. ### 1/5 — Perfect app… if you like wasting your time ! *2026-08-24, version 5.6.1* I have very serious reservations about scanning ID documents on line. Despite these reservations I scanned documents and video my face to a third party site (a further red light) the verification process bugged leaving me without verification and a bug on the Audi site blocks restarting the verification process. I am not prepared to scan ID documents or my face again, why should I you already have one copy which I would like you to delete. So I shall be deleting this useless App. ### 4/5 — 🩷😃👾🐾 *2026-08-24, version 5.6.1* Always room for improvement ### 1/5 — Bad user experience design *2026-08-23, version 5.6.1* The app doesn’t do anything for me and my 2025 Q3, so shouldn’t need to be running when I’m in the car. I finally just gave up and uninstalled it. It can do some useful things when away from the car but there is nothing worse than being in the middle of typing something as you turn your car on and the app takes over and takes you away from what you’re doing. There’s no reason it should auto start when connected to the car—it should be up to the user. ### 1/5 — Great EVs vs. very bad app (used since 2020) … *2026-08-23, version 5.6.1* Reverse chronology (latest at top): Used currently with Q4 Etron (2023) V. 5.6.1. CONCLUSION TO DATE: Not good enough. Mostly dysfunctional app with some attempted nice, plain but useless graphics. 7-23 Aug 2026: [eyes shut] Still not working. Mileage/charging status not showing at all, with no fixes. Status etc. frequent outages. NGE (not good enough). - Goodness! I mean, isn’t there trouble brewing in your IT Dept re your Devs who are delivering so much expletive *&#*?! Or have they been in some way or another been turned into drones/silent witnesses/etc.!? 6 Aug 2026: [shrugs] No longer showing the car’s (Q4 new Mar 2023) charging status or mileage. Status still showing. Despite service level/agreement updates in Mar, app still showing old dates. [Ancillary comments: 1. Just run this through a good AI and see what it throws out (Yikes!) … then look around in the fora 2. NB: You DO NOT need Cubic Telecom to run this 3. NB: If your kids get locked in the car without a key, they can’t get out as door handles do not function the way they used to (front and rear)] How come this app gets a >80% score? We’ve used it for over five years. It works consistently for only about 10% of the time. Great EVs. Below par, lowest common denominator (LCD) app. One does not represent the other, although it ought to! Looking forward to when it might work. Nicht einmal mittelmäßig. Audite ‘Audi’, mutate in tempore cum temporibus! 5 Aug 2026: [shrugs again] … Tech/phone staff: plausible deniability with advice proffered repetitively never leading to a solution. A very serious waste of our/the consumers’ time (insulting). The corp addage still applies: JUST PRETEND THE USER IS ALWAYS WRONG. Well, that’ll get you so far. 7 Jun 2026: [shrugs again] … 18 May 2026: [shrugs] Are you shrugging, Audi!? 14 May 2026: How nice when it works! 29 Wed 2026: Yet another update: all fingers crossed! 28 Apr 2026: It worked for a bit yesterday, pos 10 minutes, and then it didn’t. Above all, it did not work when I wanted and needed it to work. - Now, dear (ex-dear) Audi, you phenomenal time-wasters (!), do you really think after all this palaver—over 3 yrs post buying new—we’re going to buy another Audi? 27 Apr 2026 (2nd entry): Let me run this idea by you, Audi! Why don’t you email/text each user every time the app is actually working, to spare the user the amount of wasted time checking the app anxiously/nervously/etc. And as to advertising copy the following is suggested as a tagline for myAudi: “myAudi! One of the few standout apps that doesn’t work for but actually/actively against the user. Welcome to Audi World! A new era of futility that manages to take the joy out of driving! Rückwärts ist der neue Vorsprung.” 27 Apr 2026: from 5* to 3* to 1*. Dear Audi, do you sincerely believe that this only very intermittently working app—fairly essential for an EV—reflects well on the quality of your vehicles? As mentioned below (over time), the frustration/annoyance this app causes is beyond the pale. It works about 10% of the time, and gives up the ghost when needed. This nonsense is your end not ours! And everything we have been shown thus far is that you CANNOT FIX THIS ever-recurring connection problem. By the bye, ChatGPT has the answer, and it is quite embarrassing. So, why should we spend another £ 70-120k+ on another EV if the basics are not working? BTW, this went from 5* to 3* … this has been going on for a few years (2023) re our EV. And doing searches via Google/ChatGPT throws up a whole lot of probs that you should have fixed by now but haven’t. 29 Mar 2026: Nil changes (this is bad bad) (bad) (and more bad) … nil attention to customer input: in fact, every error put your way is returned with a ‘task’ to check this or that, engaging one in effort/work one is not going to be paid for. I mean, FFS, do your own IT+ work, Audi!!! By now your call/email centre staff must be suffering from a specific form of Audi-PTSD having to relay to customers all this “we can’t cope, we can’t do it … go on, you do it” nonsense, it really beggars belief! Recent suggestion 2026: Here’s an idea, Audi: Please, incorporate in your app (include this also as an email service … how about it) a service that notifies/messages the user when everything your end is broken (yet) again, so the user doesn’t waste so much effin’ time trying to fix it, or trying to get in touch with you, etc. etc. etc. … booh hiss! 16 Jan 2026: Are your servers down frequently? Is it a Q4 prob? It isn’t. What is it then? I’m sure there’s a kids’ book in this about some very annoying grups who givva. The down-server stuff is so frequent now. And you’re going via VW? 4 Dec 2025: On/off/on/off/on/off … connect/disconnect … disable privacy settings/enable again … it stops working/now it works again. Testing our patience, are you, Audi? Not nice. - Give me real buttons, real people, etc. and working connections. And … suddenly it works again! Yeah! How much time have I spent over the years attempting to fix stuff like this. Feb ‘25: AND … dah-dah, working again post 2-day outage, and working well. Thank you, Vorsprung! Jan/Feb ‘25: I’ve posted quite a few reviews of myAudi in here. Some good, some not so. We really like our Etron. But what the heck is wrong with the Luddite attitude when it comes to the app guys? Barely functional most of the times. Are you trying to boycott yourselves, or electric automotion? I know there’s a new Cold War—or not so—going on and threats from cyberspace abound from the East, but this app, already so simple … what’s going on? … ### 1/5 — Hijacks my phone *2026-08-22, version 5.6.1* I loved that I could use it to find my parked car, but ultimately had to delete the app. It hijacked my phone, forcing navigation apps on, and turning off the radio any time my phone got unlocked. I could find no way to disable it’s hijacking things any time the car started, so ultimately had to give up and delete the app. ### 3/5 — Started off well but.. *2026-08-21, version 5.6.1* Pretty and nice to set up. Makes it feel very premium. But in practical day to day operation it sucks Remote turn on works 1/5 times Summon makes the car brake so quickly it must damage the brakes Keeps harassing you to confirm that it is using location Again, very pretty, but much like MMI it’s not reliable and skips every so often Other manufacturers have apps for way less premium cars that actually work great and don’t swarm you with profile set ups and user customization and all that nonsense. One set up and it works always. Learn from Ford App and Land Rover Remote.
