### 3/5 — Long way from good …

*2026-03-28, version 2.4.3*

Latest update - like most of its predecessors - shows a lack of proofreading in the App Store promotion. Basic spelling errors.
There seems to be no way to circumvent the insistence on entering a PIN when logging in. Biometric and NO PIN is where it should be. The last thing I need is YAA (yet another App) wanting a PIN - this is so last century.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Harder to see usage

*2026-06-05*

This app used to have great visualisation of my data plan but after a recent update it’s much worse.

It used to show my mobile plan’s data usage as a bar right next to another bar which showed how many days left until the end of the payment cycle. It meant a quick glance could immediately tell me if I was using data faster or slower than usual, and I could easily buy top-up data if I could see I would need it before the end of the cycle.

Now, instead they’ve made that one usage bar inexplicably take up five times as much screen space, but removed the bar showing how long until the payment cycle, which means this screen is essentially useless to predict how much data I’ll need to get through the month.

As a voice complaining about change, I’m sure this will be dismissed as just complaining about change, but genuinely this is a worse experience, it tells me less information and takes up so much more space. Do better, Aussie Broadband

### 1/5 — Not fit for business

*2026-05-29*

Still trying to get connected, very poor communication, very poor support - only open 9-5 Monday to Friday. Businesses operate all hours, so should they. They aren’t serious about business customers so you should take your custom elsewhere.

And they put their price up before even getting me connected.

Unbelievable.

### 1/5 — App is hot trash

*2026-02-11, version 2.4.0*

Horrible navigation

### 1/5 — Aussie NoBand

*2026-01-25, version 2.3.0*

Customer service is atrocious. Lodge a fault and the customer has to speak to different agents every 5 hours and perform a different test each time the agent changes. Asked to add a screenshot and can then not upload it in their app. Aussie and NBN are a joke. Continually pass the buck until the customer gives up. Happily to take your money for a service they are not providing.

### 1/5 — Don’t believe the reviews

*2025-10-24*

They use review gaiting. The app will ask you if you are enjoying using it. If you give a low score, your review is submitted within the app and nothing further happens. If you get five stars, you get a notification to leave a review in the App Store.

When a business uses this method, they get a disproportionate amount of higher ratings, and the average rating score does not reflect the average user experience. Therefore the ratings are a lie, and this is unfair on their competitors who don't use review gating.

If you want to see more real review scores in the future, to ensure you can get what you expect instead of getting scammed; remember to give a one star to any app or business that asks to give a rating before forwarding you to a third party review site to give a second rating. Let the public know that they use to review. I recommend a copy this text and keep it in your notes to paste on reviews.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-09-20, version 2.1.2*

Need to enter password and useename each time you use app. Taken away speedtest feature, so now cant see if actually getting the speed youre paying for. Service increasigly dropping, time to look for another provider.

### 1/5 — Upgrade hopeless

*2025-09-19, version 2.1.2*

Great upgrade to the app Aussie. Now you can’t get past the log in screen as it just loops back. Go back to the drawing board.

### 1/5 — Would be a good app but…

*2025-09-18, version 2.1.1*

If you love apps that you need to log back into and set which service your using every time you come back to it then this is the one to get if not it’s a hard miss.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-09-07, version 2.0.0*

Face recognition doesn’t work. Pin doesn’t work either as it doesn’t come up to even enter it when face recognition fails.

### 1/5 — Zero stars if possible

*2025-08-27, version 2.0.0*

Bad bad experience:
I got a horrible username I can’t even remember or change, the app keeps logging me out every time even if I have Face ID enabled it doesn’t work.
The payment system is horrible as well, why can you accept debit details and make a debit charge every month? Instead of me having to come every month and this sms verification every time ?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Always there

*2026-08-18*

As always my aussie are always there for support for customers, to help with any issues that arise if you need them, help is just a phone call away when needed, they always have things sorted for you before the end of your ph call to them, thank-you for being there for your customers (my aussie), you are very much appreciated by me, customer service is fantastic and always sorted for you at the time of contact, kim..

### 5/5 — The most competitive service provider

*2026-05-26*

Aussie BB’s customer service has always been great. I have always found them to be (by far) the most competitive phone and internet service for the $$. One place I moved to in past 10yrs I couldn’t get coverage due to being isolated area-The best other provider I could get was over 3x the $$$ p/month for Internet service. We Definitely recommend Aussie BB

### 5/5 — Switched

*2026-05-06*

Should have joined years ago but was waiting for a Personal Reference (+ trial) from a Trusted Friend. Sign Up was Easy-Peasy, Plans/Payment Affordable & Easy to Understand, Professional Customer AI 🤖 Service experience, Quick Communication/Confirmation/Follow Up ensured I was Informed & Understood the What/How/When/Why Process.
At the End of this, I am a very happy Customer 😁and confident that I made the right choice to SWITCH Internet/Mobile Providers.
Thank you AussieBroadband for making this a great experience 👍

### 5/5 — Nice!!!

*2026-04-10*

Was with one of the bigger Telco’s and swapped to Aussie. Smooth transition and people who know the systems with such niceties as porting of numbers. This in itself was remarkable. Then again that is what you get with a company with call centre people based in Australia and knowing Oz Telco so BE NICE to them :) the app is easy to access. Easy to use. Gives you the power to make changes or even just to throw a few $ on to the account before billing runs. Not to mention the whole service ended up a little more than 50% cheaper than my last Telco. Give them a try..

### 5/5 — Don’t worry about anyone else

*2026-03-12*

MyAussie has been great, best/fastest connection at a great price, customer service has always been great and the support has always been good too, if your ever stuck just chat to them and they’ll always help you out, literally can not see me ever changing providers, wish they could handle all my bills like electricity, gas and phones

### 5/5 — Best Internet Provider an service

*2026-01-31, version 2.4.0*

Aussiebroadand is the best provider for internet I’ve been with them nearly 6 yrs and never had any issues an service is always amazing

### 5/5 — Top app, definite 5 stars.

*2026-01-31, version 2.4.0*

It really does deliver every option, test, invoice etc that I’ve ever needed.

To quote others with pleasure “Very well laid out, accessibility excellent, uncluttered, logical, nicely polished clean and effective UI.”

And the Aussie team has delivered on the “back end” too.

Thanks guys!

### 5/5 — Best app I have used by an ISP or Telco

*2026-01-16, version 2.3.0*

I appreciate that people see flaws in this app, but it is by far the best ISP or telco app I have used - and I’ve used many. I think it’s objectively good, but comparatively it’s 10/10. Don’t often write app reviews, but wanted to say cheers to the programmer/s for making life a bit easier - this telco stuff can be a real headache.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-01-09, version 2.3.0*

Works a treat nice easy to use interface

### 5/5 — Functional & easy to use

*2026-01-09, version 2.3.0*

The app works well, self tests are great to have and it catalogues past & current outages.
