I’m considering, just using the regular iPhone app. But not sure yet **Developer response:** We regularly review our pricing to ensure we cover our costs in developing and maintaining the app so it is sustainable long term and our users know they can rely on it. We also genuinely want our users to feel they are getting great value for money for an app they use multiple times everyday. The pricing model for the app is detailed on the App Store Description page and on our Website. It has been the same since we released our first calendar app back in 2008. The sales model that was decided upon for all our calendar apps was that they should be free to download, so that users can try them before they have to pay anything. But the free versions have a number of restrictions and includes adverts. You can then purchase the Upgrade to the full version that will remove these restrictions and adverts. When a user first downloads the app they get the current years calendar included with the app, and if they download it after January of a year they will also get the next year as well for free. So a new user will get effectively two years use of the app with their initial purchase. Then for subsequent years there is a small charge for each years calendar. This charge makes it feasible for us to continue to develop the app and release updates to keep it working on the latest versions of Apples iOS software and also to provide support for users. We felt the cost structure was good value for an app users could rely on to plan their lives and that would be kept up to date with Apples evolving software and hardware, this has proved to be the case. It is one of the least expensive of the calendar apps I have used but sacrifices nothing.
