But I think $4.00 is a little expensive every year. *2025-10-31* GREAT APP!!! But I just think, $6.99 is a way too much for a calendar every year, & for a long time customer. I really like this calendar, but I think $6.99 to renew a calendar every year, can get a very expensive. I think 99 cents is ok or even $2.00. But I just think $6.99 is a little much, every year. I don’t think it should be that much for updates. I’m considering, just using the regular iPhone app. But not sure yet **Developer response:** We regularly review our pricing to ensure we cover our costs in developing and maintaining the app so it is sustainable long term and our users know they can rely on it. We also genuinely want our users to feel they are getting great value for money for an app they use multiple times everyday. The pricing model for the app is detailed on the App Store Description page and on our Website. It has been the same since we released our first calendar app back in 2008. The sales model that was decided upon for all our calendar apps was that they should be free to download, so that users can try them before they have to pay anything. But the free versions have a number of restrictions and includes adverts. You can then purchase the Upgrade to the full version that will remove these restrictions and adverts. When a user first downloads the app they get the current years calendar included with the app, and if they download it after January of a year they will also get the next year as well for free. So a new user will get effectively two years use of the app with their initial purchase. Then for subsequent years there is a small charge for each years calendar. This charge makes it feasible for us to continue to develop the app and release updates to keep it working on the latest versions of Apples iOS software and also to provide support for users. We felt the cost structure was good value for an app users could rely on to plan their lives and that would be kept up to date with Apples evolving software and hardware, this has proved to be the case. Our many thousands of long term users all over the world know they can trust us with their life. ### 2/5 — More Repeat Options Needed *2025-08-18* Developer responded and said this is an option. Nope. Custom repeat only allows a certain day, not every 3rd Wednesday. Removed another star since developer acted like it can be done when it can’t. There’s a reason why developer said go to help page without any elaboration. Would like to see repeat option that works, for example, every 3rd Wednesday of each month. **Developer response:** Yes you can set this up. You need to choose "Custom Repeat" when setting the Repeat on the event. Please contact our Support Team through the in-app link on the app’s ”Main Menu" > "Help & Support" page. It really helps me keep on track with my day to day routine, especially with my severe ADHD! Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I feel it could be better in some ways, it can also be a bit confusing to navigate at first. But if you’re willing to take the time to learn it, and pay the $5 once a YEAR, then I say get this! It really does work and is one of the best calendar apps I’ve found! ### 3/5 — Questionable Billing *2024-11-25, version 18.2* Although my renewal wasn’t due until June of 2025, I couldn’t create an appointment for a January date in November 2024 without paying immediately. The price had also risen from around $2 to around $5 annually. ### 2/5 — Meh *2024-09-15, version 18.0* It won’t let me open the app every time I try to it crashes before it can even lose but idk if that’s just a me glitch or if it’s the same for most people ### 4/5 — Fantastic Calendar *2024-07-08* I like how I can customize this calendar with individual colors and shapes for my various activities. I can tell at a glance but looking at the color what activity my events are related to. It’s far more versatile than iPhone’s regular calendar. The price makes it even more of a joy! ### 5/5 — Very good Calender. *2023-05-10* Had trouble syncing events to my Apple watch and contacted support. They trouble shooted for many days with no luck trying different things. After an update of the watch and the app, the events now sync. Even though support may or may not have helped, they didn't give up. For this reason I will continue to use this app as my daily driver and subscribe yearly since the cost is reasonably low. Most important though, the layout is great. Easy to use and great work flow. Highly recommend this Calender. Open up the main systems "Settings" app. Scroll down to where our app is listed. Make sure our app has "Full Access" to your calendars. Then try the following steps: Make sure Calendars have not become accidentally hidden: First thing to do is ensure all calendars are set to be visible in the app. 1. In our app, tap on the Calendars icon button in the top centre of the screen. 2. Ensure each calendar you want to display in the app has a tick mark next to it Untick and then retick all the calendars. It is one of the least expensive of the calendar apps I have used but sacrifices nothing. It notifies me in advance, however the only thing it needs is better alarms. I find the alarms are to soft, not long enough and loud enough. It’s easy to use, the monthly view is a good way to get a glance at what’s going on and adding events is very easy. Plus, you can have events, like birthdays, to repeat yearly. Also, they have beautiful backgrounds or you can use one of your photos for a background. I’ve tried many calendar apps but I always come back to this one.
