It surprisingly still works on iOS 14! Even works well with the Apple Pencil 2nd generation! But unfortunately the eraser part of drawing you can’t seem to change it’s size. So if you have a lot to erase. It takes time. If there’s a way to enlarge it, I have yet to figure it out. Sadly since no updates in over 3 years I can assume this app has been abandoned and won’t be fixing the eraser issue! ### 2/5 — Frustrated *2019-12-29, version 6.3.1* I’ve used this app a lot over the years, and in some way, I love it dearly. This has nearly all the components of an amazing art app, but there are a few big problems that are causing me to write this review. It crashes - *a lot*. I’ve never lost work by it crashing, but not only is it really annoying, it’s preventing me from saving my pieces to the personal gallery. There is also severe input lag/lag in general at times. If I try to undo something, it can take while minutes. My iPad isn’t super old or anything, so I’m not sure why there’s technical errors to that extent. I’d be very happy to see the crashing and lag fixed. Thanks ### 3/5 — Wow but omg I’m so annoyed *2019-05-01, version 6.3.1* Everything was great apart from a few lag spikes and a few times crashing. I spent who knows how many hours doing a drawing and every time I went to save it either crashed or shrank the picture, the app crashed again after that and next thing I know... MY ART IS GONE! So I spent hours on that for nothing... Please fix this. ### 3/5 — 50/50 *2017-11-29, version 6.3.1* There’s ink brush settings here that I can’t replicate in Procreate and the other apps (full version) and I love that! I want this app to survive. I’m running this with an Apple Pencil and still to look into its Wacom stylus support. Thought I had saved it, when in fact did not. Would love to have an auto save feature. If there is one, have not found it yet within the help menu. Brush selection is extensive. Multiple layers capability is great. Utilize one layer only as a brush test. Works well. Intuitive. Responsive. Colorful. Creative. So many combinations of brushes, pencils, and styles. Color palette blending is easy. Works perfectly with iPad Pro latest software. I reported the problem to the developer who could not have been more helpful. An update was promised and arrived earlier this month. Full of hope, I updated and, yes, it worked but no longer supported my Wacom bluetooth stylus :( so no fine control over pressure and no palm rejection. More correspondence with the developer and a promise of update soon. Well, today it happened :) Yay! Everything works as expected and it’s great to be kept informed during the development phase. Top marks to effectmatrix for customer service and it’s a great app as well. ### 5/5 — Great app, many brushes and features. *2015-10-04* The crash with iOS 9 has been fixed. I have bought and tried most of the favorite art apps. This one is my favorite so far, for layers. MyBrushes has a gallery, but not albums. I love the ease of working with layers in this app. I paid for the extra brushes, and was not disappointed! There's so many! with this app, you can load a photo, trace or paint it, then change it for a canvas and you have a painting!
