The Canadians do it. The British do it! Old Pappy is long since retired. So let’s put an end to the teetotalism. We just want a beard and a shot of rum. Seriously, this app is a ridiculous idea anyway. What is work life balance if you think people at home are looking through their app to get more Work info. Then you bait and switch a clunky app for a glimpse of self expression in a poll. Then delete it. There are a few useful things in it but tbh it’s like the base newspapers that get passed around and barely skimmed through. Beard poll recently had me install it, but I looked through the rest of the info. Not sure who designed this, but may need to be looked at in order to be somewhat relevant. Whoever inflated the app downloads for Marks/OER’s, this will not be helpful if your command decides to “check your work” and go through these reviews. I look like a child having to shave my face every morning. I had high hopes and thought the coast guard might make a turn for the better. Moments later the poll is gone. While exploring the rest of this extremely mediocre and not very useful app, I realized it is just like the rest of the the Coast Guard, made by people who still live in a decade we no longer live in, and are resistant to change to what is currently happening. One recommendation, all the unit’s phone numbers would be super helpful in the contacts section. Also, CG Exchange is in there twice.
