This is a hidden gem! *2023-08-13* Guys, I have been quite deep into the topic of OpenAI, AI, LLMs, etc. for more than a year and I kind of absorb a lot of new information every day in this rapidly developing area - to make it short: THIS is by far the best client app I have been able to find so far and its potential to the top is even more open. Here are the pluses I noticed: + The app comes from a deep learning/machine learning enthusiast who also offers the „Neural Networks“ app (also very recommendable app). You can see that the developer is well versed in the subject. + The developer is not an anonymous and unattainable ghost, but to find on Github, easy to contact and as you can see there, he reacts quickly and satisfactorily to the concerns of other users. + This app is well suited for both beginners and advanced users. + The app is clean and tidy, offers a quick and easy start. + Super fair! There is both the offer to use the app‘s own easy-peasy subscription model or optionally your own API, your own Azure access or even your own proxies. This freedom of choice speaks for the integrity of the developer and his maximum fair dealings with the end user (just so that you understand it: even more fairness is not possible). + You can choose between contextual or contextless conversations (in everyday life, the contextless Q&A conversation will usually be enough for many users, which is very cost-effective), but the non-plus-ultra is the built-in infinite context: this is virtually a „technology“ that stores any conversation history and calls only relevant parts of it „to the memory of the AI“. The whole thing only locally on your device. For this, this app has actually already earned 6 stars instead of just 5 stars. + In the user interface, everything that could be unclear is explained well and concisely in tooltips. Image generation, prompt templating and a lot more, but I think that should be enough to convince you that it’s definitely worth it if you give this app a try and discover on your own how cool it is. I personally have not been able to find negative points so far, but my suggestions for improvement would be: * In my opinion, tooltips are displayed for a little too long, so that several tooltips can even overlap. It would be good if you do not have to „click away“ the tooltips yourself before you want to look at new tooltips, but that automatically only one tooltip can always be in the foreground. * I have not yet been able to find a sync function (like for prompt templates, chats and settings) between different devices. Would be nice to implement such a thing (maybe as pro/premium feature?). * Connection to Apple Shortcuts (for example, send input to Code Interpreter and get back results as output) would be extremely nice, but I can imagine that this could be a huge effort. But here as well as a pro/premium function? I would definitely pay for it! * I am sure that a „tip“ payout button as a small donation for the development team would certainly also be used by some users! Thank you very much for your work! After I paid for my subscription The app kept responding that I had the wrong engine. I tried them all. Nothing worked. Then it asked for another (2nd) payment. I did this and it still did not work. So I requested my money back. If you can see my account, I only had 3 inquiries answered. To get more points I had to write this review. But i’ve only asked two questions. Hardly enough to judge effectiveness, so i’m judging based on experience.
