I need to make a purchase now before things become fully booked, but I’m unable to do so because the app simply isn’t working. This has become a constant disruption. There’s no warning, no predictability, and the app becomes unusable at the exact times when I actually need it. On this occasion, I haven’t been able to use the app to access or manage any of my bookings, or even make a payment or purchase. These repeated issues are seriously affecting the reliability of the service. An update that is supposed to fix bugs shouldn’t leave users unable to access their accounts, manage bookings, or make purchases when they need to. I need this issue resolved urgently, as I shouldn’t have to risk missing out on bookings or purchases because of ongoing technical problems with the app. ### 1/5 — Poor App *2026-08-30, version 6.57.1* A lot of the time the app just refuses to open, just sits there like a stroppy teenager doing nothing. Compared to other school apps we have used there is minimal information on this one, can’t say I’m a fan ### 2/5 — Rubbish *2026-08-05, version 6.56* Logged me out, can’t get back in. School won’t help. Reset password multiple times. ### 2/5 — Poor user experience *2026-07-22, version 6.55* This app is no more than displaying a web browser view within the app, this provides a poor user experience and I work in tech. Moving around within the app, zooming in, changing pages etc is poor and clunky. This app needs to be re-written from the ground up as an actual app not a glorified clunky browser if this is to work effectively, currently they have simply created an app to display the website within which is very poor. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2026-07-13, version 6.55* Every time I log in the app just freezes. Can’t tap on anything to open any areas to see child’s info or pay. Can log in via web but can’t view properly on a smart phone.tried to contact support but have to have a support contract to get help. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-07-10, version 6.55* Awful - not user friendly and doesn’t deliver at all. Pointless ### 1/5 — App not working correctly *2026-07-10, version 6.55* I am asked to go through the Full process username then password the school postcode and then activate Then it takes me to a webpage which does not show the whole page. If I try the app its repeats the first step and brings me back to step one ### 5/5 — Ola Omo Ola *2026-07-08, version 6.55* Good and perfect to use ### 1/5 — By quite some margin the worst app on my phone *2026-07-06, version 6.55* The notifications don’t show in the right order. If you click on the wrong one all the latest ones get hidden at the bottom. It always wants to do double Face ID. The payments and wallets make no sense. You can’t see notifications for both children. Truly a triumph of terrible user interface! ### 1/5 — Totally inadequate for parent communications *2026-07-06, version 6.55* My school switched last Sept to MCAS / Bromcom and all communication in the past school year has gone downhill. The parents’ WhatsApp group has to make up for the short failings of MCAS to keep parents informed of notifications from the school. Despite the app sending a notification, once the user clicks on the notification it sends you to the general dashboard in the app and it leaves the user to ‘guess’ which tab the notification is applicable too. Given that there are often at least 12 tabs, it is not easy to search for or locate a notification. The system also doesn’t allow you to opt for ‘email notifications’ if you are using the app so there is no back up communication.
