It is borderline criminal and likely warrants a consumer rights lawsuit. **Developer response:** Hi! We firmly distance ourselves from the accusation of any "criminal" practices. Our business operations and subscription terms are fully compliant with all applicable consumer rights and legal requirements. Furthermore, it is absolutely possible to cancel your subscription directly through our app. Cancellations are processed quickly and easily via our automated Support/Chatbot feature, in accordance with our 7-day notice period. All terms of cancellation are transparently communicated upon sign-up. Your myClubs Team ### 1/5 — Yuck company *2026-06-08* A lot of the clubs are in places with poor cellular reception and/or poorly staffed without clear myclubs QR codes. The check in model is broken and leads to unpredictable fines. Seeks to exploit rather than serve. Hard to get money back with poor + slow service. Stay away. Yuck 🤮 **Developer response:** Hi, unfortunately we're unable to verify your feedback, as this is definitely not the standard we strive for at myClubs. Regarding the check-in process, we want to clarify that our app is designed to work even in areas with poor cellular reception. You can scan the QR code offline, and the scan will be safely stored in your app. Once you step into an area with better reception, before or after your workout, the check-in can be completed. We partner closely with the sports providers in our network to, among other things, ensure QR codes are visible and easy to find. However, if one is ever missing, the on-site staff is always there to assist you. Additionally, transparency is a core value for us, and we absolutely do not seek to exploit our members. Our no-show and booking policies are communicated clearly to ensure fair access to classes for everyone. While we are always open to constructive criticism to improve our service, we value respectful communication. Unfounded accusations such as exploitation do not reflect the reality of our business or the dedication of our team. Your myClubs Team ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2019-06-10* I bought this to use a few real gyms during a 4 day stay in Zurich as it was recommended by the hotel Most of the instructions are in German so not really designed for Tourists but I visited the second gym and it didn’t have any staff to log you in. Cycled to another and it’s the same so you can’t use it at the weekend. You also can’t contact support at the weekend where I scanned the gym and it used a token. Better paying to visit Migros which is at least guaranteed entry. ### 2/5 — Late Cancellations & No Support *2025-12-09* Classes get rejected last minute, leaving you with no time to rebook (It happened to me three time!). App’s Support simply repeats policies and offers no solutions. Not dependable if you want consistent workouts! **Developer response:** Hi, We understand that a last-minute cancellation can cause frustrations and how disappointing it is when your workout plans are disrupted. While short-notice cancellations by partners are usually due to unforeseen issues like illness or technical defects, your credits are always refunded immediately. Exploring new places to workout and locking you in to that commitment via the app. ### 5/5 — Love it!! *2019-08-25* My clubs is simply perfect if you're interested in many different sports and not always in the same area. I go to a Pilates studio that's close to my work and a gym close to home without paying crazy fees for each studio. I love it!! Besides it's the only gym I know I Zurich that doesn't charge you for pausing your membership or requests a two years contract like ALL THE OTHERS DO.
