The MyCoach by Coach Catalyst app is designed for clients of trainers who have enrolled in the MyCoach by Coach Catalyst program. The app will send push notifications and prompt clients to answer yes/no question in regards to comply with healthy habits sent by your coach. WHO CAN USE THE APP Clients can only use the app if they are working with a MyCoach by Coach Catalyst coach. The latest update is not great. The stopwatch is jumpy and difficult to look at. Why change it when it wasn’t broken? Also the sets are now expanded. Give us a setting to collapse them by default so I’m not having to scroll. ### 2/5 — Can I go back? *2026-06-24* Clunky, too much manual entry, should prepopulate fields with previous data, just messy and too much to do in-workout. ### 2/5 — Frustrating to use, unable to export or delete my data *2025-12-20, version 6.4.50* Used as a client and find the app frustrating to use. While it has good points such as the exercise guides, the everyday experience of adding sets and reading comments is slow at the best of times and doesn’t function at all without a good data connection. There seems to be no offline sync or capability. To view your current exercise weight you have to view the history. To see if your coach has made any comments on an exercise you have to open the comments on each exercise and check the message date. Most egregious is that as a client you have no ability to export or delete your data. I understand that coaches do, and this responsibility is deferred to them. I cannot find any client support available on the app creators website. ### 5/5 — Wonderful weight loss app *2023-07-22* My coach is a wonderful program that allows users with an easy and detail plan that you can follow and be successful in your weight loss journey!! Highly recommend this program!! ### 1/5 — Annoyingly buggy *2023-02-14* This app constantly shows notifications when there are non. The red dot notification flag mysteriously disappears once the app opens. It also lacks night mode which should be standard at this point. Nobody wants a glaring white screen after dark. ### 2/5 — Account associated with another gym *2022-04-20* I used this app at another gym. My new gym is unable to add me as I’m still associated with my previous gym. They said they no longer has access to the app to release my account/email and I don’t see an option for me to disassociate/associate with gyms. ### 2/5 — Close but so far away from being great *2020-05-12* This app has potential to be great for accountability. However if you enjoy seeing you have unread messages when you don’t this is the app for you. No matter what I do the notification of a new message won’t go away. ### 5/5 — Great for accountability! *2020-04-23* I love that I can see how I am doing at a glance - both with a certain program but also with my body composition. It’s super easy to send a message to my coach and keep all the communication in one spot rather than digging through email/text.
