MYCU’s tech help is not only not helpful, but actively antagonistic to claims that the app is not working, despite all the people here claiming otherwise. Frustrating how incompetent this credit union’s technology is. ### 1/5 — worst banking app ever *2026-04-24, version 5000.0.4* no mobile check deposits no credit card interaction just stay away you've been warned any other CU is better i'd give zero stars ### 1/5 — Yikes! *2026-03-15, version 5000.0.3* They went from having a working app to consistent issues. Every other tap is an error screen. this alone is a reason to go to a different credit union. ### 1/5 — Lost long time member *2026-03-14, version 5000.0.3* I’ve been a member of this credit union for over 30 years. All the changes since converting to “MYCU” have moved this credit union backwards. The system upgrade and rollout of this app have been amateurish at best. More than seven months later we still don’t have all of the mobile app functionality of the previous app. Mobile check deposit only was added a month ago, six months after the “upgrade”. Even then it is buried under a menu. And even then, I can only deposit to a checking account. At my new credit union I can mobile deposit to savings or checking and with higher limits, which becomes important when I had to move some money around related to a home improvement project. Transfers to other accounts are still a problem. And this app is incredibly slow. Every step it takes time to load or figure out something. expect to see the two blinking circled arrows a lot. There are numerous other issues with this credit union such as still not joining with other credit unions to handle deposits across institutions. So, I’ve mostly moved out of this credit union leaving a maintenance amount on the accounts and I am now at another credit union who seems to live credit union values. moving away from a financial institution I’ve used for the past over three decades isn’t easy, but they no longer serve my needs and I would recommend going to another credit union. ### 1/5 — What is the actual hold up? *2026-01-27, version 5000.0.2* Seriously. I mean, it’s inconvenient enough having to drive over an hour every time I need to deposit a check, but all of my personal finance apps are not functioning because there’s no third party connection. I had to cancel subscriptions at this point. It’s been like SIX MONTHS. I’m screaming, not to MYCU necessarily, but the developers of this app, what is the actual hold up? ### 1/5 — Not functional at all *2026-01-11, version 5000.0.2* This is the worst platform I have experienced with a bank. They claim you can make mobile deposits yet I have searched the entire app and there is no ability to mobile deposit. On top of that the app itself is not user friendly and takes a long time to load. ### 1/5 — New App *2026-01-10, version 5000.0.2* Idk, I feel like if you were gonna completely change the app, I would make sure all the previous features worked. I can no longer scan in checks through the app. I have to go to the physical bank to cash it in. And it’s such a waste of time too. And I can’t send anyone checks through the app either. It’s been 5 months. Takes a LOT more time and effort to boot up my aging computer to do what used to be simple tasks.
