MYDG2SAVE puts the intervention sheet for a dangerous goods incident in the pocket of the crew that gets there first — and it works with no network at all. Enter the UN number, the substance name, or just the two numbers on the orange plate. You get what the first crew needs: hazards, extinguishing agent, what never to use, PPE, evacuation distances, the ERG 2024 guide and the NIOSH appearance and odour. NO NETWORK IN THE FIELD The app downloads the whole dataset once, when you activate it, and keeps it on the device. From then on — in a tunnel, on an industrial estate, in a basement — the sheet opens with the phone in flight mode. Nothing is fetched at the moment you need it. SIX WAYS IN, BECAUSE THE PLATE IS NOT ALWAYS READABLE • UN number • Substance name • Hazard identification number alone (top of the plate) • Both numbers • Plain orange plate with no numbers — the case the regulation itself allows (ADR 5.3.2.1.1) • Placards only IT CHANGES WITH WHO IS READING IT Firefighter, police, medical, driver, safety adviser. YOUR POSITION Coordinates and MGRS grid on screen, to pass on by radio. It stays on the device: we never receive it. TRAINING Ninety-second scenarios, so that the first time you open the app is not during the incident. A SOURCE ON EVERY LINE ADR 2025, ERG 2024, NIOSH 2007. Every sheet carries its source and its edition. MYDG2SAVE assists the person who decides; it never decides. The call on the ground stays with the incident commander. ACCESS MYDG2SAVE is licensed to organisations — fire and rescue services, civil protection, carriers, industry. You activate it once with your organisation's access code and it never asks again. There is nothing to buy inside the app. ## Version history (last 3 releases) ### 2.4 — 2026-09-10 New home screen. Choose how you can identify the load: UN number, substance name, the orange panel (one number or both), or the placards alone. A hazard number on its own now leads to ERG guide 111, instead of ending nowhere. The panel is read the way it is seen on the road. Training. The 90-second scenario is kept if you leave the app, and an optional weekly reminder brings the exercise back. It is training in using the tool, not regulatory training. Signing in with a licence is now always within reach: menu → Account. You no longer have to search for a substance outside the demonstration to get there.
