Nak buka tiktok pun tak boleh langsung ### 4/5 — Digi’s Decline in Service Quality *2025-10-09, version 14.0.16* I’ve been a loyal Digi customer since 2017 because of their affordable and reasonable plans. The network was fast, even in remote areas like my kampung. However, after Digi’s collaboration with Celcom, the network speed has significantly dropped. The connection, which was once reliable even in the jungle, has become very slow, especially in urban areas. This is particularly frustrating after upgrading to 5G, which should be faster than 4G, but in my case, 5G is actually slower than 4G. Another issue I’ve encountered is the removal of the hotspot add-on. If you’re going to remove it, at least replace it with something better. There’s no unlimited data plan with hotspot anymore, and I don’t understand why hotspot data needs to be limited. Why separate it? Now, if I need to buy hotspot data, I have to purchase a separate data plan, which is expensive, especially for students. The only option for unlimited data and hotspot is through a data SIM, which isn’t available for regular prepaid customers. This is a real inconvenience, and I need improvements in these areas. ### 4/5 — slow *2025-09-03, version 14.0.15* it can load pretty slow which can be frustrating sometimes ### 2/5 — Account get barred without prior notice *2025-09-01, version 14.0.15* Was having a very important appointment today, while hitting the road using Waze leading ways, I found my account got barred for using internet, try calling my clients and phone call is barred as well. Gonna rush back home connecting to WIFI to make communication, it was a outstanding fee needs to be paid, after settled it, i missed my appointment. Issue 1: I checked if there’s any notification or email sent to remind me: NO. Issue 2: Tried checking the bill but it says, the bill is not ready please try again after you received digi bill message. Not receiving any bill message, the only one from DIGI is thank you for your payment. If bill is NOT READY, why even asking for payment and you barred me right away without prior notice? *It tells how important is the money than the one using the service and paying for it. Issue 3: To avoid this happened again, i tried setting up the auto debit payment and while am login to the app setting to check payment method by clicking ‘my payment’, it quits from app instantly. COME ON Please don’t let it happened again. Apology can’t fix the mistakes. PS: Two stars are for the WhatsApp automated cs system and supporting live agent, Muqri which are super helpful and responsive. ### 2/5 — Experience with this app *2025-07-05, version 14.0.12* I’m a student who actually got misunderstood with the apps system, actually I was just gonna deactivate the auto renewal subscription but I don’t know it was going to deactivate my plan to, I’ve only purchased the pass that day and it seems to end that day as well. I didn’t get to use it at all. I’ve asked the customer service to help me but they seem to can’t do anything I guess, it’s a drag that I need to buy a new plan and I can’t afford to spend much since I’m still studying. It’s been an awful experience for me. The biggest issue is that it doesn't offer unlimited hotspot data, despite the plan promising unlimited internet. They only provide a very limited amount of hotspot data, which makes it impossible to get any real work done, especially when I need to use my laptop. I pay RM39 for this plan, expecting to have reliable internet access, but it's frustrating that the so-called 'unlimited' internet can't even be used for hotspot. It's disappointing and doesn't meet my needs to get my work done. Digi is so stingy they don’t even give a few minutes or an hour of grace period before completely cutting off the internet. I’m on the RM38 package, and honestly Digi is expensive and useless. With UMobile I used to get unlimited fast internet for RM28, but with Digi—even at RM38—my internet is still slow. When my data ran out, I immediately topped up. It auto-deducted for my monthly plan (which I was okay with), but the worst part is their service. Even after topping up, my data wasn’t restored for hours. I couldn’t text properly or use my phone at all, even though I really needed it. I tried turning airplane mode on/off, restarted my phone—nothing worked. Only after hours did my data finally come back. When the plan ends, Digi cuts the internet exactly on time with no warning. But when I top up, suddenly there’s “delay”. Their service is honestly trash. Useless and unreliable—especially during emergencies. Since the day that I switched to Digi, it was never fixed. After so many months or could i say after a year?! E-wallet option: blank page when you're at the last stage of payment. Credit card option: page went blank after u put in your credit card number. Like why would you even want to create an app when you are not going to maintain/fix issues/do UAT for features that are commonly used. I don't blame people for not paying their bills on time and switching to other platforms because the trouble you put people through to pay their bills are just too much. ### 1/5 — Digi is the best !! *2025-09-14, version 14.0.15* When my contract ends, I will change all 3 of my Digi postpaid numbers and WiFi to Maxis. My phone was "blocked" due to an overdue bill that was only a few days late, and I wasn’t given any notification. I called HQ customer service several times, and they told me "my device wasn’t blocked". After 5 months, I tried contacting WhatsApp support to see if they could unblock it — and it worked! For 5 months, I’ve been paying my bills on time like a fool, yet no one unblocked my device or informed me. On top of that, my internet keeps disconnecting, and my WiFi is unstable. There were messages coming in saying the activation was unsuccessful but one would have thought the app would retry automatically and not leave the step to be done by the user, since the whole reason anyone would put it on auto activation is in cases if they know they’d be busy or possibly forget etc. So it didn’t do it. Lo and behold, I got a bomb of a roaming charge when I received my bill. Contacted the service centre and all they can give me is that they’ve sent messages for me to self activate. Idk if it was my network or something else cause I’ve been used this number since 2014 and haven’t changed it to a new one.
