OTP coming in late after 5 min. Stuck at the first step but otp keep coming in. If other developer could why cant you. Dont cheapskate on server. ### 3/5 — Improvement / Suggestion Idea *2026-01-18, version 2.8.4* Overall the app is great. It allows me to login to another application. So now I only have to remember my very safe password for MyDigital ID. However there’s more to be done. For example, allow app to register to government app using data taken from MyDigital ID. Something that Singapore does with their SingPass. SingPass has records on our address, taxes, annual income (Taken from employee), even applying for credit card can be done using SingPass (not all website is allowed to use SingPass tho). Maybe do case study on SingPass to get better idea for future. Meanwhile, keep up the good work. Always a half baked solution from this country. Always know how to put the big capital to create something new but always flop in the middle and never put the thought in proper design. I've been trying for two days, and the program keeps getting stuck at this step without giving any reason. Can you suggest a solution? ### 3/5 — No English language option *2026-01-09* There is no selection English version selection available although under app information it clearly stated English and Malay ### 1/5 — Please allow us to use password manager *2026-01-09, version 2.8.4* Please don’t clear the password field whenever we use password manager to autofill, you think it’s for security reasons, but I would say this cause more security problems than you think, many people will be forced to use easy to remember password, instead of complex password where usually managed by a password manager. Please do some research before you naively implementing this behavior. ### 1/5 — Poorly designed app *2026-01-09* It took me about 5 attempts to register, as it keeps timing out before I receive my OTP. Then when I was finally successful in getting past the OTP to register my details, it timed out again as I was working on setting my password. Can’t believe a simple registration process took 20 mins! This will be a real challenge for senior citizens. ### 1/5 — Language options *2026-01-09* There is no other language options provided. Maybe all the government sites that linked to this app should reconsider their collaboration as this is absolutely a joke. ### 1/5 — Stupid registration process *2025-12-30, version 2.8.4* Few points to highlight to our powerful app developer 1. After filled in email address, OTP won’t send to registered email. Need to fill in few time only will send out. 2. Super slow face scanning process. Hold the phone like a stupid for few time with the perfect angle and distance and yet still error in scanning. I don’t know how many times I have scanned but this is really wasted my time and also wasting the country money. Please put in ur effort in develop ur apps. Someone sure became rich from the govt for this. ### 1/5 — App keeps on showing error *2025-12-22, version 2.8.1* I’ve been having an issue with this app for weeks and been going back and forth with the customer service team which is absolutely useless in providing a fix. App keeps showing error when I’m trying to pay my traffic summons and when I reach out to the customer service so easy of them to tell me to walk in to any kiosk to settle the issue, that defeats the whole purpose of this app. The government things by having this app it can help ease the citizens to make payment online but it’s just getting more hectic. Please use our tax money properly and hire proper people for your IT team and customer service as well because walking to a kiosk instead of fixing the issue in the app is not a fix at all ### 1/5 — Failed to display my digital id *2025-12-21, version 2.8.1* If a zero-star rating were available, I would select it. The registration process has taken weeks. Although I have tried registering multiple times, both online and at the kiosk, and each attempt showed “registration successful,” my digital ID still does not appear in the app. The app is now asking me to register again. This process is time-consuming and not user-friendly. Overall, the experience with the “My Digital ID” app has been disappointing. ### 3/5 — Please add login function. *2025-12-15, version 2.8.1* It is not so helpful. I accidentally deleted the app, then when I installed it back, there is no login function. Hence, I need to cancel the ID and make a new one? And we cannot have the app on multiple device because of the absence of the login function. Repeat again until i received 6-7 OTPs…However, the app remains stuck on the email screen and does not proceed to the verification page. funny. This is a basic functionality issue that should NOT occur, especially for an important application. Furthermore, we will not be able to use the MyJPJ app soon if we do not register for MyDigital ID. If you are going to enforce such restrictions, please ensure that your app is FULLY functional and reliable. Users should not be prevented from accessing essential services due to technical errors!! I thought as long as the account has been created based on my IC number and thats the end of it. But no. After that there’s a message pop out telling me that I needed to register my thumb print also, at their nearest kiosk! Well, if that’s another task I have to do separately, then why ask people to register online? If i knew this in advance, I would be happy to make time to go to the physical kiosk and do everything there all at once! When I tried to “Daftar online” it says “Ralat pendaftaran tidak berjaya.” It asked me to batalkan sijil terlebih dahulu. Im aware that I registered before when when I try to log in IT DIDNT WORK. Then when I tried to batalkan it says error. Even when I tried to take picture of my ID and end up always error. Idk whats the purpose of this app. The interface is dumb too. However, I understand that the authorities have since upgraded the app. This time, I managed to create my account successfully with just few minutes. The entire process, including scanning NRIC, was fast and easy. Then I registered. My experience is great as it was easy, fast and functional. My experience was very positive and I used it for verification purposes for myMyESS. I was happy to report that it was equally easy and fast. I will not hesitate to use it again. I am hoping this would be an end all to having multiple logins to multiple apps. It took about a minute to complete the registration process. Some apps already use my digital ID to login. It is easy to use as only need me to remember one password for various applications. So my suggestion is, macam online bank, first kita boleh qr dgn qr kod lah, other way is you can screenshot the qr kod and the banks apps can scan it for you to get the information. Kalau benda lain this apps dont have any problems it’s easy to use ### 3/5 — Is this Digital ID really necessary ? *2026-02-21, version 2.8.4* This app. has no language option. 2 1/2 star. For me, they suddenly blocked my access to my JPJ a/c login. All I want is just to renew my car road tax. Now they insisted that I haven’t got an account with them. Force me to create a digital ID. I rejected this idea of Digital ID because personal privacy is important and nothing online can be completely safe, no matter what you created. I still haven’t created a digital ID yet. My JPJ account had been blocked. I think I can go to its web page and use “As Guest” option to renew my car road tax. And to choose physical delivery - sticker …instead of digital receipt as I was always. I still don’t like this sudden evolutions that caused too much unnecessary inconvenience for the Rakyat. Especially older people, and handicapped personnel. Do you know there is a new IC card replacement coming up soon. Pity those older generation and people who are handicapped, those who haven’t got free time to handle these never ending changes. Just using the word “for security” and making us lopping up and down for nothing. Malaysia should not try to follow Singapore which is a very different kind of country from us. They have nothing except laws and very strict regulations. A tiny island, nothing much. We have everything given by nature. We don’t need that much laws and restrictions just trying to be a happy, free and contented nation as what we are always. Singapore style of living doesn’t suit or compatible with us.
