### 1/5 — Terrible, buggy app

*2025-12-13, version 13.1*

Basic functionality doesn’t work. Do the devs even test?

### 1/5 — User who can’t open a gate.

*2025-12-09, version 13.1*

What good is an app that doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Completely unreliable

*2025-12-09, version 13.1*

The HOA went with this app and things are completely unreliable. It works 20% of the time. It has 1.5 stars and that is generous. Run do not walk away from this.

### 1/5 — Poor app design and development.

*2025-12-08, version 13.1*

I don’t know how they got people to buy this. App works horribly, and looks like it was designed as a rushed student trying to submit an assignment last minute.

### 1/5 — Just use your building key/fob

*2025-12-06, version 13.1*

For any property management: do not use this app. Pins I set did not work, remote lock does not work, only the call-to-unlock feature worked until recently and now nothing works. Anyone can type a resident pin in and get entry. Not worth it at all.

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2025-12-05, version 13.1*

Update claims that there were minor UI changes but the app as a whole no longer works. Gate does not open for anyone & no code works. Theres no revised instructions uploaded for the new update and the app is basically useless. Very inconvenient. Hopefully my apartment complex switches to something else

### 1/5 — Total garbage

*2025-12-03, version 13.0*

All functions immediately stopped working after the interface update at my complex and apparently other apartment complexes across the country according to tech support when I called. Who are the IT people at this company? This company should be embarrassed.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2025-12-02, version 13.0*

Literal worst app ever

### 1/5 — Absolute Garbage trash can of an app

*2025-11-16, version 6.0*

This app doesn’t work 80% of the time. Resident pins don’t work, even the simplest aspect of the app swipe to open a gate doesn’t work. Location sync failing, gate failing to open. If your office uses this. Complain to them immediately this is trash.

### 1/5 — What a JOKE

*2025-09-17, version 6.0*

Our HOA selected this app with NO neighborhood feedback and when a simple fix to our access gate went up repaired for 90+ days. This new system is cumbersome and depends on far too many variables to be reliable. E.g. what does a resident do if they lose their phone, are out of battery or the cellular system has a hiccup?

Galactically dumb.

### 1/5 — Garbage app that your property pays a lot of money for that doesn’t prioritize end users

*2025-06-14, version 6.0*

This app lets me create new guest pins indefinitely, but I have no option to reset a permanent resident pin in the app. So you can never change your unique resident entry pin if you ever forget it. I was new to the app, entered a pin, and now I can’t get into my building. I would like to change or “recover” the pin, but the app does not allow that. Instead, I just go to a feature which allows me to create new pins for vendors. There is a setting In the app to make these vendor pins never expire btw. So your neighbor can create a pin of 0000, and any rando who punches that into the console now has access to your building. Good luck everyone.

### 1/5 — This app is a joke

*2025-02-10, version 6.0*

So the office hyped up this digital directory app that’s supposed to in able us to buzz the door open for guests. Well day #1… doesn’t work. Downloaded the app, followed all the prompts and it doesn’t work. I’m not even in the directory for the building. Neither is my wife. What a let down. Even our door Pins won’t work.

Thanks Hawthorne @ Traditions…how about a real call box!!!!

Guess we’ll have to keep going downstairs to let guests in…thanks

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever

*2024-12-03, version 6.0*

I’ve been living in the building three weeks now and the stupid app is still not working. Every time I have guess me or my daughter have to go downstairs to let them in.. I’m really reconsidering my Lease.. And don’t get me started on the staff in the office, they’ve been no help at ALL..!!!

### 1/5 — App is always down

*2024-12-03*

Move to a building , brand new building and most of the time the app , the pin or even the key does not work. No way to get in.

### 1/5 — 1999 called and they want their system back

*2024-11-27, version 6.0*

The app is so infuriating bc you have to receive a call on your phone, unlock your iPhone, then open app. The app is okay after ALL of those steps, but when you open the door there’s no sound to let your guest know it’s open. It also doesn’t allow you to add a temp code or anything else. DO NOT use this if you can help it

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever!

*2024-08-29, version 6.0*

This App is controlled by our HOA board! It does nothing to make my guests enter gate easy. Too many steps and swipes to open gate! Too confusing for our elderly community. Should be so much better and easier to use with modern technology!!!

### 1/5 — Crashing Simulator

*2024-01-08, version 5.0*

I cannot open any doors or gates at my apartment because the app crashes right after opening it. If you want to simulate a terrible phone application, this is it. Gets one star because I can’t give it zero.

### 1/5 — Crashes Immediately

*2023-10-19, version 5.0*

My apartment complex recently began using the service. I downloaded the app and logged in only for it to immediately crash before loading the dashboard. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it only to have the same issue. I turned my phone off and back on and still had the same issue. Not very useful at all.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2026-04-24, version 13.1*

Doesn’t work, can’t even create an account.

### 1/5 — Unable to create pin

*2026-02-05, version 13.1*

When I first used the app a few months ago I was able to create a gate entry pin. I tried to log into the app today and it looks like it updated and there’s no area to add/update my pin. There’s also an apartment complex in Arlington TX that’s on my account but I live in Georgia, so that’s weird.

### 1/5 — This app sucks.

*2026-01-29, version 13.1*

I wish I could give it zero stars. It doesn’t even work right. I live on the second floor and have to go downstairs to let people in because most of the time my own code doesn’t even work.

### 1/5 — HOAs, Avoid

*2026-01-23, version 13.1*

My HOA got sold this scam of a product and now nobody can access our building. The app looks like it was built in 5 minutes, it will log you out and then not prompt you to log back in. Guest codes don’t work so I can’t receive any packages. If you are an HOA board member or a resident of a property that is considering using this pile of garbage, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-01-16, version 13.1*

Have this app on my building brand new building - i guess is the cheaper shi.. that they could get since day one is a horrible interface and is always broken they did and “update” and stoped working for a month 😂

### 1/5 — No door view

*2026-01-05, version 13.1*

This is so non-functional. Haven’t found a function yet that works.

### 1/5 — Is MyDoorView a Legitimate Operation?

*2025-12-26, version 13.1*

I’ve never seen an app or the company behind it fail this much with no accountability. Seriously thinking this is a scam operation. Beginning in December, the entire system (not even just the app!) just stopped working altogether after an app “update”. You should see the amount of missed delivery slips in our building weeks after the update with no resolution. I hope property management companies and building owners have stopped paying this company and they are investigated by the appropriate oversight agency/ies. Did all the programmers just quit overnight? Who is running things over there? I’ve just never seen a product not work this much with no real action or urgency to fix it or get it right over such a long period of time. Even before the complete failure of the system, when it was more “operational” the codes generated through the app didn’t work half of the time.

### 1/5 — Bait and switch product, this should be illegal

*2025-12-23, version 13.1*

Made a decent product at launch that functioned properly but has become worthless overnight. I guess the plan was to bring people in to buy your specialized hardware, then gut the backend support so it devolves into a useless pile of garbage, classic. Avoid like the plague if possible. Doesn’t work and hasn’t since they launched an update this last month that has screwed their entire user base. If you do end up using this app, my condolences, you will have to constantly uninstall and reinstall it to get the most basic of functionality. You’ll have to login to get any notifications that someone is at your door of course, so good luck developing the omniscience required to make the product even 1% useable. I supposed I should give it credit that it can function as a paperweight, it’s only saving grace. Great work Eagle Eye Network laying off employees in order to pad your upper management’s and investor’s pockets. You’re really making the world a better place 👍

### 1/5 — Exciting new update: It no longer works at all!

*2025-12-18, version 13.1*

Not only does the app constantly log me out, but the codes I send people do not work. The property manager has to let them in. The company doesn’t communicate with its users at all, so no one knows if they are even working on it. Instead, we’re a month in without a fully-functional security system. It’s not even great in other respects—it’s slow, ugly, and lacks features (e.g., restore pin, multiple phone numbers per address, etc.).

Hopefully, your landlords choose a different system.

### 1/5 — Constantly forgets my devices

*2025-12-14, version 13.1*

They should make a horror movie where a character is being chased by the killer and they can’t get into their building because the stupid MyDoorView app forgot all their info again and they couldn’t log out and log back in in time.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Pretty Cool app

*2017-10-13, version 1.6*

Works on my ipad too!

### 2/5 — Very Buggy

*2024-08-22, version 6.0*

Neither the app nor my apartment management has helped with this app. I still don’t have a code for my friends and family to use. But, the main problem is it’s internet based and if your phone internet network isn’t working, then the app doesn’t work. So, I have to either wait for someone else to use their app to let me in or call myself using the directory and buzz myself in. You’d think that they’d give you instructions and walk us through everything instead of letting us fend for ourselves.

### 2/5 — Slow to connect and distorted video.

*2024-05-24, version 5.9*

Android app is a way better interface. iOS is a 3 step process. Android auto launches the app.
Video is distorted and jumpy on the iOS . Android is standard video size and smooth imaging.

### 2/5 — Has Potential

*2023-08-08, version 4.9*

I’m able to open the door for people and that’s about it. I’m not able to create pins or any of the other features the app claims to have. It’s really a shame. The app is also not very intuitive to use. It’s very basic so you would think it would be easy for the developers to fix /maintain any issues…
