They offer a QR code that I assume is intended to allow others to confirm card & qualifications. Instead it just performs a web search! Useless and potentially embarrassing. ### 1/5 — No better than bookmarking the ECS webpage *2026-05-28, version 2.1.31* All of the information about yourself is on the webpage, anyway. The only thing that the app does is generate a QR code, which is supposed to be used to confirm your card-status to a third party. It doesn’t work and the automated ECS response says that the QR code is only meant for Windows computers (not all third parties will be carrying them, so not especially useful). They could easily have created an Apple Wallet version of your card, which would be more useful and would avoid their QR code limitations. ### 1/5 — Grey screen fault *2024-03-21, version MyECS 2.0 (2.0.51)* I’ve emailed and reported from the app but nobody has attempted to get back to me. I get a grey Home and Comms Screen, the only one that works is the Card screen. Pretty useless TBH. ### 1/5 — Two step verification *2024-02-11, version MyECS 2.0 (2.0.51)* Can’t log in as I can’t get past the two step verification window. I enter my details but I can’t change the screen ration on my iPhone so that I can see or tab the log in button. I have tried to resize my screen but it doesn’t help. Update Now the app has been updated, it is now working without any problems ### 3/5 — No authorisation codes *2020-12-21, version 1.2.7* Not a bad app but the ability to generate authorisation codes doesn’t work ### 3/5 — Apple wallet support? *2018-02-07, version 1.0* Great idea but again stuck with another app that will just sit in the phone taking up space doing very little. Would be great to add to Apple wallet so that you can delete the app. It’s simple and clean which is nice but this could have been done a lot simpler by adding it to digital wallets. This app tho could do with a few more areas. Application area to monitor progress.
