Every time I try to login, it tells me that my password is incorrect and my account will be locked after 3 attempts. I go through the process of changing my password (which I did today, just to time it, and it took just under 25 minutes) - captcha to verify I’m a person, enter email to reset password, wait for the email to arrive (which it doesn’t always do), make sure I open it in Safari because the site doesn’t work in Chrome, captcha again, reset password (with some of the most stringent password rules around), a third captcha, and then it lets me in on the website. The financial data may or may not be up to date. Log out, try to login via the app…and it tells me the password I just set up is incorrect. I’ve tried writing it in manually, and I’ve tried copy-pasting it in so I know there are no errors. It will not accept the password until I reset it again. I consider an app that requires you to take 25 minutes to reset your password each time you use it to be fundamentally unusable. I’ve given up and am now only using Experian and Clearscore (which uses Equifax data but is typically around 8 weeks behind). I would absolutely use the app - possibly even pay for it - if it worked. I cannot use this. And just looking at the ratings and reviews of this app vs the Experian one should tell you that I’m not the only one. I’m frankly amazed that a company this high-profile can’t create a working app and website. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-07-14, version 1.0.5* Can’t even sign into the app ### 2/5 — Painful *2026-07-07, version 1.0.5* It’s a half native, half web-based experience which requires needless re-authentication. The UI is janky and randomly doesn’t load. It was a real headache to make an account and login. I had to waste time calling customer support only to be told to try logging in again which randomly worked. Other providers have set the UX bar rightly very high, and this app ( / website thing?) is woefully below it. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-06-04, version 1.0.4* What’s the point of an app that just sends you to the website, part of which says your password is incorrect! Can’t use the app or the website so will have to resort to calling. Why would I possibly trust this organisation with my financial data if they can’t even get this right! ### 1/5 — App or service garbage *2026-05-23, version 1.0.4* Either the app is garbage or the service itself is. Literally every time I try to use the app it says the email address/password combination is wrong. I have been through the reset process of resetting and I use a password manager so that I don’t have to remember the password but it happens every time. Waste of time and very badly tested. ### 1/5 — Pointless App *2026-04-21, version 1.0.4* I cannot see the point of an app with so little functionality. I have to login every time I want to open it, including password, captcha and a numeric code sent via email. Having jumped through those hoops, to actually view my credit report it takes me to the website via a browser, and you guessed it, makes me go through the whole 3 stage rigmarole again. Heaven forbid you have a question the FAQs won’t answer because the help pages require a DIFFERENT password and visiting a whole other site. I couldn’t log in to that, despite multiple attempts, including trying to unsuccessfully change my password - which then of course lead to you getting locked out. I had to then make a phone call.
