The update made this update absolutely unusable. It’s SUPER slow navigating to each screen (inbox, sent, trash, home). But worst of all is that it doesn’t show fax images for sent or received faxes! I reached out to their support weeks ago and they replied saying that they are aware of the issue. Then told me to use the website. So they basically admitted that their app is broken and they have done nothing to fix it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled repeatedly and it still doesn’t work. Still not seeing any updates of when it so be fixed. I use this for work for testing and it’s just unusable and I’m tired of waiting for a fix. I have been using this for at least over a year. Unfortunately I’m canceling and moving to another service. Deserves a 1 Star rating but choosing 2 stars just because I did like them for so long. I had to call my bank and block their access to my account, Terrible Service ### 1/5 — Can never leave the screen *2025-04-29, version 5.4.13* Anytime you leave the screen to toggle and try and grab info for the fax, you get bumped out, resulting in the inability to benefit from the feature at all. ### 1/5 — Broken app *2025-04-26, version 5.4.13* We've used this product for years and it was fine. Over the last few months it now sends multiple miniature images of a single image that are unreadable. Instead of fixing the problem support says we should just use the desktop app. They blamed us and refused to fix problem. We are switching our company and suggest you do not use this broken app. Plus their support is only email now. They got rid of operators so you can't get live help. Used to be good *2024-12-31, version 5.4.13* I have used this app for years for all faxing. The service used to be great with no issues. For the last month I’ve been unable to send faxes using the camera on my phone. The recipients will receive large black boxes with a very tiny image of the picture that is unreadable. When I tried to call tech-support, I also found out there is no longer any phone support. I can only contact someone through email or chat. I’ve sent an email seven days ago with no response.On chat they confirmed that they know about the issue. That was three weeks ago. The issue is still ongoing. I have received no updates from the app developer. I am currently looking for a new fax app. I would recommend you do the same. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2024-10-09, version 5.4.13* This app is an absolute SCAM. They offer a 3-day free trial then somehow someway from the App Store MAKE you purchase the app and pay the subscription fee without you giving consent to do so. When I downloaded this app it never said I was paying $14.16 ONE. Two it never said TODAY. It’s on there website. Phone support no longer takes calls. Chat support is NOT a live agent when they LIE and say it is. It’s the same person by the name of Elizabeth. Chat support tries to blame Apple and throw you on them. And with emails they are UNRESPONSIVE. What does that sound like to you?🤔 ### 1/5 — Fax mobile can through fax machine *2024-07-04, version 5.4.13* I ask you. ### 1/5 — Scam report J2 global to the better business bureau *2024-05-23* This company is a scam. They'll charge you to cancel your account and not cancel it. They're owned by J2 Global also known as ZiffDavis. Report both to the better business bureau for fraud because that's what this company is. They're customer service line is not active and they don't have actually people on the chatboxes. It's all a scam so don't download. If you do, don't call or chat. Report them to the BBB and call your local and California’s fraud hotline to report them. Then report the to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), that's what I did. Companies should not be able to scam people like this. ### 3/5 — Customer Service *2024-03-26, version 5.4.13* I have used your service for years. Love, the fact that I could call if I had a technical question which was not very often. Very disappointed that now I only have chat. ### 1/5 — Scam Alert! Bait and Switch! *2024-02-21* Do not give these people your business. They do not charge by pages as advertised, they charge by the minute! 60 seconds on their server is equivalent to 1 page. How is anyone suppose to know that? I see 100 pages, 300 pages, and 600 pages on their site… no where on their front page is there an asterisk to let people know of any conversion factor for pages and minutes. No where does it say how much they charge for overage either! I was over 17 pages and they charged me an overage of $9.70! Others charge $0.10 a page, these people charge by the minute on their snail-slow server. Also, they precharge your account $10 whenever you go over. Take your business elsewhere. **Developer response:** Hello uploading. This is not the experience that we wish you to have. Please note that high data files may take longer and may cost more when sending them as a fax. We recommend black and white text documents when sending faxes but we can also send high data files which may cost more. The service is steadily declining. The app is horrible now. The email addresses rarely get notifications, & you definitely want to send from their platform. I believe the rating you see now is from the past. I am definitely seeking new providers. It’s unfortunate I can’t port the number I’ve had for over a decade. Now it is useless *2026-02-01, version 6.3.1* This used to work great with no issues. Now when you click on the myfax app it just wants you to create a new account. There is no way to log in at all. The phone number to customer support is disconnected: also they wont answer your question in chat or email. When these people hear the concern and dont know what to do- their solution is to end the chat. THREE TIMES THIS HAPPENED. Still have no answer. Absolute disgrace! This app isnt worth it for free. Do yourself a favor and use any other app in existence. Not this one ### 1/5 — awful update! *2026-01-15, version 6.3.0* The new update makes the app horrendous to deal with! Half the time when I go to open up a fax it’s showing up blank. As I try to clear my fax, once you delete one fax the whole app becomes unusable and freezes and you need to exit and reopen it every single time.
