After a firmware update, the camera on my son’s myFirst Fone R2 stopped working completely. I followed every troubleshooting step requested by myFirst, provided video evidence and proof of purchase, and their support team confirmed in writing that the watch would be replaced. They even requested my shipping address to send the replacement. They later reversed that decision and ultimately refused to replace the defective watch because it had been purchased through Walmart, despite already knowing this when they approved the replacement. Their proposed solution was to return to Walmart or use a 30% discount to spend more money buying another myFirst watch directly from them. For a connected children’s watch that relies on an app, firmware and ongoing manufacturer support, customer service is an important part of the overall experience. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the myFirst ecosystem or its after-sales support. ### 1/5 — My first frame. Complete junk *2026-08-13, version 4.1.1* New purchase today and tried to setup. The software is complete junk, keeps crashing. It has not worked. $139+sgd rubbish. Stay away from this product. ### 2/5 — Bugs *2026-08-12, version 4.1.1* The app itself is not bad but a lot of problems and bugs with connection, messages and sometimes with the gps. I have a product background and I have never encountered something so frustrating as I have with this app and the watch that it’s for. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. There’s no way all of the companies making this type of product are all trash. If they are, maybe I just found my next venture✨ ### 1/5 — 개병신중국인들이 정보캐려고 만든앱 *2026-07-12* 얼추 한두달 돌아가게만들고 후속서비스없는 개벌레새끼들이 만든앱 돈뽑아가고 개인정보뽑아가니까 잘생각하세요 ### 1/5 — 前のアプリに戻して *2026-06-16* とにかく電話がかからない、デバイスがオフラインなのにさも普通に呼び出しているような呼び出し音… いよいよ買い替えないとダメだ。様々な機能追加のせいで3GB容量が必要だって。使えてたSIMが使えなくなった。途中で変えないで欲しい。今までの機能だけで十分。通知が鳴ってもメッセージは見られない。なかなか更新されないし既読表示ないから心配になる。通話はかけても呼び出しがならない。見守りなのに逆に不安になるツール。 早急に前のアプリとファームウェアを復活させてください。サークル機能などは不要です。このアプリになってから、スマホとウォッチ両方共に相手のチャットが表示されなくなりました。履歴を押したりして時々通知が来るくらい。横に並べて通話をかけてもうんともすんとも言いません。 子供と親の安全のためのチャットと通話が目当ての主な機能なのにそれができないなんて。 ### 1/5 — 挙動が不安定 *2026-05-26* 挙動が不安定。 単なる遊び用ならいいですが、連絡用としては全くおすすめできません。 突然通話ができなくなったにも関わらず、スマホ側からは呼び出し音が鳴っているような挙動をするので、まさかスマートウォッチ側では着信音すら鳴っていないとは気づかないような仕様です。アップデートしたり、双方から電話をかけてみたりを繰り返すと、なおることが多いです。通話が見込まれる日は事前のテストが欠かせません。 メッセージも特定のグループチャットだけ新着メッセージが全く反映されないなど、不思議な挙動があります。 専用の充電ケーブルは突然充電できなくなることがあるので、予備2、3本持っておかないと急に困ります。また、充電は1日ギリギリもちますが、購入当初から電池の減りがとても早いです。 サポートは回答が遅く、しかもピントのズレた回答が多く、とにかく残念です。 ### 4/5 — 1달 사용 후기 *2026-04-22* 다른 리뷰들에서 전화연결이 잘 안된다는 후기에 비해, 전화 연결은 늘 잘되었습니다. 위치정보는 착용기준인건지 한번씩 이전 위치에서 업데이트가 안되긴하지만.. 전화가 잘 되고있어서 여러가지 미디어 등을 제한하고 급할 때 아이랑 연락하고자 하는 목적에는 비교적 잘 부합해 만족하며 쓰고있습니다^^ ## Frequently asked questions about myFirst Circle ### What does myFirst Circle do? myFirst Circle is a social communication and sharing app designed for families, children, and friends.
