Find it an extremely convenient app to consult even the senior most doctors from the comfort of my home - particularly in these challenging times of a pandemic. I accept that sometimes I needed to wait before successfully contacting the doctor. But imagine the pressure and workload on doctors! We have all seen it on visits to hospitals. Is it not better to wait at home than travel all the way to OPDs n then wait there for hours - with God alone knows which infections around??!! ### 2/5 — Can’t login with international number *2021-05-02, version 1.39* One can register using an international mobile number by choosing ISD code. But while logging in, one can’t use international number as no drop down for choosing ISD code is displayed on login screen. Trap for minting money ### 1/5 — This app needs a lot of improvement *2021-01-03, version 1.38* There is no way to test the audio until the time of your first call, so if for some reason your audio is not set properly, you lose your call with the doctor and have to start all over and reschedule the call. I have notifications turned on for this app, yet, when the doctor changed my appointment time it did not notify me, and I did not find out until the time of the appointment, I had woken up early on a weekend for it. It is already not easy for international patients to schedule a time that works in both time zones. There is no way for a patient to request a reschedule of an appointment if the doctor’s change to the original schedule does not work for the patient. All a patient can do, is send a note to the doctor, and hope that the doctor will see it ahead of the appointment and help the patient in rescheduling. I scheduled an appointment and the receipt I got in my email for the same showed the appointment to be in the year 2022. The app probably has a message for international patients on the appointment screen to call an Indian number at the time of the appointment. It also calls out the current IST time but actually shows my local time which is EST (New York time). All this is misleading because patients are not supposed to call that number at all, they need to use a button that will become enabled at the time of the call. It’s very convenient and user friendly for the patients, particularly visiting from distant out-stations; as it saves both time and money for routine consultations. As most of my patients of Operated Head Injuries, brain Haemorrhage, brain tumors or spinal problems require frequent and and prolonged follow up ( sometimes 2-3 years), patients use this mode of tele- consultation happily. Now, in the event of CORONA pandemic, when it is advisable to avoid physical contact between the patient and the clinician, this app is really helpful in providing consultation from home and is advocated for all clinicians and patients to avoid community spread of this dangerous disease from asymptomatic carriers. Neither will they call you from their side. There is not even a Customer Care contact number to solve any problem you have. They charge in advance and Doctors don’t attend the calls later.
