### 2/5 — Missing ingredients

*2024-12-29, version 2.0.7*

I like the concept but missing a lot of ingredients. In my frid I have chicken carrots and beef broth. I could only select chicken. I couldn’t find the ingredients I have.

### 3/5 — Needs Improvement || Good Start

*2024-08-05, version 2.0.7*

Sad to come back to this app after a couple months to see the last update was made a year ago haha. I had been looking forward to seeing if there had been some nice improvements or cool features added. Would be cool to see a fresh coat of paint just to literally update the colors. The orange and green contrast nicely, but it would be lovely to see some different colors that play off each other nicely.

If the developers get crazy serious, it would be awesome to see user-submitted recipes, even if they started out being emailed to the app owner to be added to the catalogue manually. An ever-growing catalogue of recipes would be a great way to keep and grow interested users. Additionally, adding dishes of different locations worldwide would make a Filter by [X] Cuisine a pretty sleek feature.

OLD REVIEW:
I was never taught my way around the kitchen because of my refusal to even WANT to learn, so this app has so far come in handy for me. I don’t exactly follow the recipes on purpose, but it’s really helpful to have a small library of potential dishes to make based off of what’s in the kitchen. It’s mostly helped me come up with meal ideas. My only real criticism is that there aren’t pictures for every dish yet. I do have one suggestion: a carousel of 3-5 images of the selected dish +preparation could be pretty cool. Anyway, this app has lots of room for improvement, but I’m pretty happy with what it has already. Looking forward to seeing upcoming updates!

### 2/5 — Missing a lot basic ingredients

*2024-03-03, version 2.0.7*

Hard to use when basic ingredients are missing (tofu, lentils)

### 2/5 — Nope

*2024-01-30, version 2.0.7*

It looks nice but I spent all this time putting in my ingredients to get a massive amount of recipes I still couldn’t make because I don’t have the ingredients. The whole point was to see what I CAN make with the ingredients I have. There are much better apps out there

### 2/5 — Great idea, poorly executed.

*2023-07-25, version 2.0.7*

I like the idea of being able to put in a list all the ingredients I have available in my kitchen and and get a list of recipes of things I can make with them because I am not that creative the week before payday when my food has dwindled down to nothing and I have supposedly nothing to cook. An ideal app for someone on a budget with limited funds. The issue I have with the app is I select only the things I have available and almost every recipe that comes up requires 1 to 2 more ingredients that I do not have nor did I select it as an ingredient I have available. The point I figured was to be able to stretch what I already had, not make me go shopping for extra ingredients.

### 4/5 — Definitely a Neat Tool

### 3/5 — SAVER

*2023-01-15, version 2.0.5*

So cool but please add more recipes!!!

### 2/5 — Small list of ingredients

*2022-11-14, version 2.0.5*

Good layout and design but super basic set of ingredients and recipes. Recipes look very bland. Not a very inclusive list of ingredients and recipes for anyone who cooks ethnic dishes. Half my ingredients and spices aren't listed in the app

### 1/5 — Recipes not for meals

*2022-11-05, version 2.0.5*

It gives mostly recipes for snacks vs meals

### 4/5 — This isn't really important but

*2022-09-14, version 1.1.6*

I know I don't have alot of ingredients but like the only recipe I'm getting is mac and cheese, it's probably just because of my fridge but just thought I'd put it out there with my rating

### 2/5 — Meh

*2022-07-29, version 1.1.6*

I was excited to see an app is now available. It’s a great idea but needs work. Downloaded it, entered 400+ ingredients we have, only to scroll through recipes that include ingredients we did not have. Defeats the whole purpose for me. As a busy mom, I wish this was more useful! I’d use it quite often if it actually worked.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2022-07-17, version 1.1.6*

Ummmmm… I selected all but 5 of the ingredients and it said 37 at the bottom but when I clicked it there were no results and got an error saying “try again later.” Tried again later and same error. Deleting app and will use online version instead.

### 3/5 — Wish recipes were more -low carb friendly.

*2022-04-21, version 1.1.6*

This is a okay & wonderful idea for a app.
I wish they had a more “low carb, low fat & diabetic, friendly- recipes ideas & kitchen ingredients “.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2022-04-13, version 1.1.6*

The only thing that would make this app better is a save function for those ingredients you always have. Checking all the herbs and spices I have every time I want recipe suggestions is a bit of a pain.

### 1/5 — Very Limited Content

*2022-04-07, version 1.1.6*

I had high hopes for this but there’s simply nothing to the app. It’s all trash food and duplicates. There’s no ratings or comments to know why actually is edible. There’s no integration with other recipe sites. There are much better apps for offering recipes based on your pantry. Skip this one.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t save

*2025-12-17, version 2.0.7*

App doesn’t save your ingredients even after making an account. Useless.

### 1/5 — Cant make an account; nothing works

*2025-09-17, version 2.0.7*

Doesnt work stuck on the city thing spinning endlessly i cant tap Next.

I thought maybe making an account would stop the “What’s in my fridge?” Thing from also spinning endlessly… 🔄🔄🔄🔄

### 1/5 — I do not have an account

*2025-02-10, version 2.0.7*

It will not let me make an account and says that every email I have is already in use which is clearly not true

### 1/5 — Junk app

*2025-01-11, version 2.0.7*

Tried signing up, said my email was already being when I’ve never used this app. Tried resetting the password and never got the email. This app is just junk.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-12-07, version 2.0.7*

Submitted my food list and checked a few recipes to see results. Every time it gave me recipes that had many main ingredients not on my list.
Doesn’t work.

Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-10-29, version 2.0.7*

I did the example of bacon and avocado and nothing pulled. Even just apples nothing pulls up. Disappointing, I would like to enter in all of my fridge items and see what recipes I could make.

### 1/5 — It’s a list of your own food

*2023-09-18, version 2.0.7*

In IOS17 there is only a list now, a check list that I can click about the food that I have in my fridge. It’s incomplete, too. And that’s it. No way to move forward with this, no recipes follow, no way forward. Just the two lists (quick and full) of the foods that I have. No user manual either. I deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Limited ingredients selection

*2023-06-19, version 2.0.7*

Doesn’t allow you to add basic ingredients, such as Alfredo sauce or fry seasoning. Needs major improvement.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2023-06-02, version 2.0.7*

My Rich BFF on TikTok sent me here, however, the app doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Weird

*2023-05-28, version 2.0.7*

Strange site, many recipes are repeated, and so simplistic It is a joke. Ketchup and Rice???? How to make a sandwich!!!! Silly.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-04-20, version 2.0.7*

Helps me cook and find simple recipes to make. This app is underrated, 5 stars

### 5/5 — Not bad! Took 2 minutes to setup

*2025-02-21, version 2.0.7*

The first review I read said that they spent forever adding a bunch of ingredients. I think there's a total of 65 very general ingredient categories and some apecifics, for example "bread(in general)", or "brown sugar" so it literally took about two minutes to check off each item I have. Then you click the little bowl icon and you can review the items or make changes.
Next you click "Get recipes". That's it.
It gave me about 30 or 40 recipes for different snacks, mains and sides, and I think I spent a grand total of about 5 minutes to set this up.
It seems to be doing pretty well, none of the recipes that I was shown have a photo but I can manage just fine without. They also have this little promo where you make it you take a photo and you have a chance to win some kind of prize. I don't really care about any promo or prize but I will gladly add photos as I progress through the recipe list.

They seem like very basic recipes for all kinds of meals not only mains, with nothing overly complicated.
I'm vegetarian so I didn't select any meat ingredients tied time. I may change the setup and add "meats" to see how it changes, of course I know that I can substitute the meat ingredients with meat alternatives.

### 5/5 — Good

*2022-08-02, version 1.1.6*

This is a practical tool. I find a great recipe and it’s helpful. I saw another recipe finder called alo recipe finder, which is also good. But it only has website

### 5/5 — Awesome idea!

*2022-06-24, version 1.1.6*

Thanks for this idea. And its free! Its fun and usefull for everybody. Thanks again

### 5/5 — My idea come to life!

*2022-01-22, version 1.1.6*

This was an idea I had about 15 years ago and it is absolutely fantastic and amazing that somebody had the same idea and executed it and knew how to do it! This is absolutely remarkable and I've already shared it with about five people in the last five minutes :-) a bravo! Well done! Fantastic!

### 5/5 — Just what I wanted

*2022-01-08, version 1.1.6*

Just installed and loving it already. Can’t wait to try!

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2021-08-30, version 1.1.6*

I use the website all the time when I don't know what to cook, usually use it on mobile so I'm glad I found out that there's an app!

### 5/5 — Best app

*2021-08-17, version 1.1.6*

This app makes it so easy to come up with dinner. I hate scrambling fir dinner ideas and this app does the work for me. Genius!!!

### 5/5 — Very good

*2021-07-19, version 1.1.6*

I have been using this app to try new things and I love it

### 4/5 — the app is helpful but

*2026-02-04, version 2.0.7*

This app is awesome but isn’t very organized. I wish there was a way i could specifically look up deserts, snacks, lunch, and dinners. i will continue but rarely. i’m looking for convenience and this is almost there. contact me via email i have ideas ! this is a great idea
