It hasn’t been updated in over three years and attempts to contact the developer have gone unanswered. I believe they have abandoned the app and what we have is all we’re going to get. Very disappointing. It’s now asking for login but won’t accept a the info and when you try to reset the password and hit submit you get a message “We're sorry, but something went wrong.” Lack of support is giving Jared Polin a black eye. ### 2/5 — App dose not load *2025-07-13, version 1.6.1* Downloaded the app and will not work with my iPhone would love to have a app to keep all my camera gear in so I know what I have and have sold ### 1/5 — App doesn’t function *2025-02-06, version 1.6.1* Downloaded the app and tried to create an account but the app kept stating: “Request failed. Please try again.” Tried it several times to no avail. Tried to create an account and initiate it that way. Still failed. So I guess there’s no reason to keep it on my phone. ### 1/5 — Dead App *2024-10-22, version 1.6.1* Unfortunately the app looks dead and no longer supported by the developers. It’s impossible to sign up (Request failed, please try again.) and get in contact with the developers (We’re sorry, but something went wrong). No way to transfer all the data. iPhone was drowned: no way to transfer data after reloading the app from Apple. A spread sheet? Perfect…! Also I want to see the notes when I choose to look at a piece of gear, shouldn’t need to select edit to see notes. Need to be able to covert to a pdf or something more universal for printing. ### 2/5 — Great but CSV export broken *2023-04-09, version 1.6.1* I’ve had this app for at least 5 years. It moves with you from phone to phone because it’s cloud based (that’s why you create an account). The insurance part hasn’t worked in years so even if you want to get insurance through the app, you can’t. I’ve found out in the last 2 weeks that exporting your data as CSV file is useless because the file will be missing some of your gear. I have 75 items in the app but it only shows 62 when exporting. This actually makes it useless for reporting purposes because now you have to go into a spreadsheet yourself and add things manually to the spreadsheet. This completely defeats the purpose of the app. I tried contacting the developers through their site and got no reply. It’s a shame because otherwise the app is really great. ### 3/5 — Useful but not completely *2023-02-12, version 1.6.1* I like the possibility to add gear and details but i miss a lot of categories for lenses. With my over 35 , mostly old lenses I’d like to have sub-categories “wide” “standard” “tele” “modern “ and “vintage “. ### 3/5 — Bug: App resets if you go out while adding gear *2022-08-09, version 1.6.1* If you are adding new gear and enter purchase date and then go to another app it starts all over and deletes your progress. Doesn’t do it until you enter purchase date. You can choose type of gear and leave and it stays up. You can add receipt and leave and it stays up. You can even enter purchase price and leave to another app or whatever and it is still up when you return. But once you enter purchase date it you go to another app you get to start all over. Now that I did the trouble shooting for you Please fix it! ### 4/5 — Great but.. *2022-07-23, version 1.6.1* Love this app and have used for several years now. However, since last update the main total spent has disappeared from the all kits view and I’m getting some freezes after adding new items. Please fix in next update! ### 1/5 — Cool concept, lacking execution *2021-09-14, version 1.5.2* The search function seems broken, if I can’t quickly add my camera (Lumix BGH-1) then I probably won’t have any luck adding more obscure accessories or vintage lenses. The mandatory login is ok in concept, but what good is it if I can’t sync to desktop? If I lose my phone I want to access that data elsewhere. As of this time, there’s no reason to use this over a spreadsheet saved to Google drive with receipts in the same folder, which accessible and editable across all platforms. But its missing some essential features for me to use it. Please add them if you can :) - A scanner option. (a way to san bar codes or QR codes with the phone) - A way to check items in and out. So when I leave my house, I scan everything i’m bringing. And scan them again after the shoot to make sure I have everything. - A way to import the gear list I already have from a spreadsheet. - A desktop app/web version of the app (sometimes, its just easier to work from a computer) With these features, it would be the perfect app! So far it’s been able to find all the stuff I have, and inputting my gear is easy & quick. I wish that I could add my own fields — I’d like to be able to add a few specifications to the lenses, like filter diameter for example. The only thing I would like to have is a ipad version. Because the app shares the information between my ipad and phone I use my ipad for inputting my information. I use my ipad in landscape orientation with a remote keyboard and the app does not rotate.
