### 1/5 — Too fussy to get connected via wifi!!!

I tried to use this app with an iPhone 7+ and a Vgate iCar Pro OBD2 (wifi) adapter with my 2022?Bolt EV. I went through the setup many times, and the app seemed to connect once. But mostly it cycled between looking like it might work and getting a pop up saying “too many communication errors”.

It’s a shame I had a lot of hope this app would work. But I keep constantly getting a pop up message saying to many communication errors. I have to keep restarting it.

I tried to connect using the  directions and I haven’t connected . Iphone 7 plus verizon w 327 elm obd2 . Wonder if i can use hp tuners obd2 ?  I’m going to try and buy another obd2 if that does work on my gen 2 volt i quit

So far this app has been great! The fact that it's specifically for the Volt and Bolt allow it to be far more helpful for certain things than other, generic OBD2 apps. However, the fact that it only supports Wi-Fi adaptors (no Bluetooth!), and that it's got far more support for the 1st gen vs the 2nd, are the reason it fails to hai that last star.

Overall, an indispensable app for anybody with a Chevy Volt, especially for a whopping $0!

I want to start this off by saying if you have a volt, you must have this awesome app! Most negative reviews are because of incompatible code readers, so just make sure you have one that is "elm 327" compatible (most are super cheap on amazon, around $15) This app shows an amazing amount of data that even name-brand units like BlueDriver or Nonda can offer! 5/5 stars!
