However, would be really helpful to be able to adjust the countdown timer. Even if it’s just adding up to one more hour. ### 2/5 — Bare Minimum *2025-11-05, version 1.6.9* The app turns the unit on and off and you can change the temperature. It will send you a notification when it turns on or off and hits the target temperature. That’s all it does. To be fair, the Xenio controller barely does anything else. It would be great if you could at least set the timer through the app; even if it was just in the 10 minute increments allowed by the controller. ### 3/5 — Needs notification options *2025-10-24, version 1.6.9* The app is functional to turn the system on and off. A very helpful feature would be to add a notification or alarm once the system has arrived at the proper temperature. The variance in external ambient temperature results in different times to heat - which can result in wasted time. Please consider a notification or alarm option. I only seem to be able to adjust the desired temperature for the manual run. Given the steep price of the Wi-Fi unit for these sauna heaters, consumers expect and deserve a more well-featured mobile app. ### 3/5 — Solo app for sauna control *2025-05-22, version 1.6.6* The app works to start the sauna. It does not allow you to set the run-time. Max run time is 1 hour. This is an issue because saunas take up to an hour to get to temp. I only seem to be able to adjust the desired temperature for the manual run. ### 3/5 — Lacks Functionality *2024-11-18, version 1.6.6* The app works and I can turn the Sauna off and on and set a schedule as advertised. Unfortunately that’s about all it can do. If it’s cold outside and your sauna takes 46+ minutes to heat up then you have to turn it completely off then back on to be able to get in your 15+ minute session. This is a huge problem. If you don’t pay attention to the amount of time remaining from the hour allowed then you will go in and the sauna will turn off on its own. I understand it’s a safety feature but you should be able to add time without having to completely turn it off and on again. The app also lacks simple abilities like being able to see how long it’s been heating up, it will only show you how much time is remaaining after it’s reached the set time. There’s no way to incorporate Siri. Would be nice to be able to use Siri Shortcuts but the app doesn’t allow it. Seems like the developers did the bare minimum and have just left it at that. The actual harvia heaters are amazing but this app falls well short of the heater. ### 3/5 — Need to add timer *2024-10-27, version 1.6.6* The MyHarvia app needs to add functionality so the user can add time. Max heater time is 1 hour. When heater is ready, timer is less than 15 minutes before shutoff. To increase time, you have to go to the physical device and manually add time. I’ve spoken to Harvia multiple times as well as my internet provider. Harvia claims we need to open ports, disable Google home, etc… still nothing. Everytime i press the settings button on the app it drops out and i have to go back into the app everytime. We tried to connect 2 of us and the thing failed. There are so many ways this could be improved - even as simple as adding another 10 minutes to the timer without having to turn the sauna off and then back on again. An estimate of how long it will take to get to the set temp, or even a history of how long it took to reach the last set temp. But after calling the Sonic company and having them help me set up remote start on the unit I’m giving it five stars. It is incredible. I said it on my phone for whatever I want the sauna to heat up. Also, the auto start they have it turned on at some point in the future is also great. Like others have said I would like to be able to add time without having to turn it off and back on again. Also, the app maxes out at 195 even though the sauna can go hotter. Not sure if there’s a way to increase that. I have my sauna connected through Home Assistant as well and there I’m able to raise it to 205 or more (I don’t go hotter than 205°). All in all it does what it needs to, having integration and some other little niceties would make it even better. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2025-12-16, version 1.6.9* The app does the job of controlling the sauna pretty well with one exception — it does not have an option to automatically turn the light off when the sauna turns off.
