### 2/5 — Overly complicated, app won’t connect to my WiFi.

*2026-05-08, version 1.11.4*

Our contractor put this in and I can’t get it to work. The app won’t connect to my WiFi. I’d give anything to have a simple on/off switch and a dial for heat. I gave it two stars because it makes a nice nightlight for our new bathroom.

### 2/5 — Overly Clever, Gets The Basics Wrong

*2026-01-27, version 1.11.4*

I just want to turn the floor heat on/off on a set schedule and see clearly if the heat is on or off. Would bee wonderful if I could temporarily toggle that at the thermostat. However, the only option is to set target temperatures at set dates and times. This doesn’t work well. It’s hot at 5:45 and then cold by 6:15 when I want to use it, despite my “leave time” being hours later.

I am looking to replace this expensive and dissatisfying equipment

### 1/5 — Rubbish!

*2026-01-03, version 1.11.4*

I have 2 areas of under floor heating, my bathroom and my kitchen/diner, installed in 2016. The kitchen diner is on a fixed temperature of 15 degrees so it never comes on - this works fine, basically because I don’t use it. In the bathroom, I like different temperatures on different days and this is impossible to set, so now I just boost it manually before I use the bathroom. The method of programming is absurd, as being retired, I sometimes don’t leave home at all. Why can’t it just be like the hive where I can select the time and temperature as often as I like?

### 1/5 — Useless as tits on a bull

*2026-01-01, version 1.11.4*

Once again, Apple screws you because you can’t give something zero stars.
This is quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever tried to use. I’ve spent two hours trying to get the thing to connect. I’m doing everything I’m right on my end. My Wi-Fi is working perfectly in the house. I’ve even restarted my router just in case thanks a lot, Terra you useless turd.

### 1/5 — Trash App

*2025-12-27, version 1.11.4*

The App will say saved when you change the temp and then about a few minutes later the temp reverts to original. You have to keep going through this process and hopefully it takes but don’t hold your breath.

### 1/5 — This app was not tested before release

*2025-12-26, version 1.11.4*

Finishing the setup flow was a miracle. Selecting room type deselected the fuel type and the other way around. Had to pick randomly a room type until both were finally picked up. QR code scanning only worked on iPhone, not on android.

### 1/5 — Awful - wasted opportunity

*2025-12-26, version 1.11.4*

I mean… how to get it so, so bad. Room is cold. Turn on floor heating. That’s as complicated as it needs to be. Didn’t connect. QR code is useless. Just all round awful.

### 1/5 — Poor app

*2025-12-22, version 1.11.4*

Terrible interface and insulting scheduler

### 1/5 — Needs a total redesign

*2025-12-16, version 1.11.4*

Honestly the worst thought out app design and you need to go back to the beginning with this thing. With a massive amount of the population working from home still we don’t want to use some janky UI to set schedules as if we are leaving the house. It should be simple on/off triggers or temperate triggers around times not based around an action like leaving the house or arriving home. It needs to be designed like nest, hive, tado or even Drayton. Spent hundreds on this because it was sold with the UFH and contemplating ripping out the controller system because it’s so infuriating having to manually change everything because the scheduler was created by a moron.

### 2/5 — Seems more complicated than it needs to be?!

*2025-12-10, version 1.11.4*

I wish these people that design these things simplified them. Setting the timer for example. Surely you and set it to have a common time then temperature a switch off time and temperature and make it literally as straight forward as that? There is a timer of sorts but I don’t know if I’ve set it right or not as it’s not that clear?

### 1/5 — Review

*2025-12-09, version 1.11.4*

This has taken four hours of my life that I’ll never get back! Too much information required to questions that have no relevance .
Simple need WiFi connection to give us thermostat control and kwh usage ! Could not get pass the compulsory questions to arrive at Wi-Fi setup!! Surprised thy didn’t want my passport and NHS number 🤬

### 1/5 — Worst possible app design

*2025-12-01, version 1.11.4*

Apple should consider removing this from the App Store. It’s horrific UX to the point of being unusable. I’ve resorted to manual setup (which was still a struggle to get to). Warmup should consider writing escape room storylines as opposed to app design - truly a masterclass in awful delivery. Bravo, Warmup. You’ve outcome yourselves here.

### 1/5 — Terrible UI

*2025-11-27, version 1.11.4*

When using the program menu the app forces users to follow a very illogical series of steps asking you when you get up and go to work etc, instead of just letting the user set the programme they want. Why should heating be based on when you get up and go to bed? Stupid idea. We use this for underfloor heating in a home office, so the UI is just completely irrelevant. Fail for the app developers here.

### 1/5 — Energy cost

*2025-11-24, version 1.11.4*

Why is it? I look at your app which I have on my phone for my warmup floor heating and I can’t add my energy cost in the app so I can see how much I am spending really stupid.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2025-11-16, version 1.11.4*

I don’t write reviews very often but the team who designed this app need to start from scratch. Perhaps take a look at the user experience offered by other home automation? Ring and Tado come to mind. Passwords need to integrate with password manager. Why is my house location relevant? Why is my gas tariff relevant for an electric heating mat? Why do I need to think in terms of when I leave the house and when I go to sleep? So much friction!! Can’t I just set on/off times like on the physical device? I’d be surprised if any focus group, user workflow study or A/B testing was done during development. Warmup leadership should be ashamed.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2025-11-13, version 1.11.4*

The product itself is fineZ the app is horrible. Why in the world I cannot start the heating at 23:00 - stop the heating at 5:00. What is that rubbish wake up, leave, come back …. Let me create my own schedule.

### 1/5 — Do not waste your time

*2025-10-31, version 1.11.4*

This is a monumental fail! It has more bugs than a swamp in the Amazon wetlands! These “programmers” would be more productive if they were squeegee guys in NYC!!
My only regret is that there are not black holes in the rating options to absorb the lonely stars the friends and family have awarded this train wreck.

### 2/5 — Electric smart stat

*2025-10-28, version 1.11.4*

Pretty poor really you have three options for temps and no way can you have different comfort temps at different times. Or use the app to set holiday mode.
At least you dont have to prgramme it after a power cut

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fails pair with device

*2026-05-27, version 1.11.4*

It crashes on attaching a ne thermostat. Does not have accurate instructions for manual pairing. Does not allow paste of any details in forms, and does not retain partial set up that fails.

### 1/5 — Real junk

*2026-05-25, version 1.11.4*

Im surprised anybody let this be released it’s unusable.

### 1/5 — Can’t use it

*2026-05-08, version 1.11.4*

This app does not do what it should do, enable a simple on off programme to be applied.
It’s useless.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-04-13, version 1.11.4*

Loads of functions missing like adding another user. Can’t change thermometer from air to floor on app. Should be able to save a winter settings from others.

No point even using the app too many bugs.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-03-10, version 1.11.4*

Won’t add the thermostats for the underfloor heating rendering the whole system useless. Great work.

### 1/5 — Broken. Badly designed. Not fit for purpose

*2026-02-12, version 1.11.4*

Terrible UI. Buttons don’t work or respond. Confusing. Limited. Does what it wants when it wants. Dated. Not fit for purpose. Garbage.

### 1/5 — Very poor App

*2026-01-28, version 1.11.4*

Poor very poor. In the App I set an override for 1 hour. The app states this is done correctly, later in the day I find the App has decided to fix the temp to 28c. And now I randomly fond one of the other bathrooms has set itself to 20c instead of frost protection, which is the standard setting for the thermostats as I cannot trust warmup not to quietly change temps and cost me a fortune. It is obvious there is no investment in this app or the thermostats. A real shame. The layout is not intuitive at all. Spend some money and have the app overhauled and while doing so make sure it interacts with the thermostats correctly. More positive reviews means more sales!

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-01-27, version 1.11.4*

I agree with the first review in here. The app is useless. I think my thermostat is working to heat the floor but it’s hard to tell.

### 1/5 — Any review more than 1 star is lying

*2026-01-23, version 1.11.4*

This is the worst thermostat and app I’ve ever seen. Anyone who claims this works, is a bot or paid reviewer.

### 1/5 — Intrusive

*2026-01-19, version 1.11.4*

Can’t access and use basic functions without going through invasive location tracking set up, utility charges & personally identifiable information. No doubt it is all securely stored; don’t you worry your pretty little head. A floor heater is definitely worth sharing your personal data.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2026-01-24, version 1.11.4*

No complaints. Honestly just thrilled the app still works. So many IoT apps just stop working. But this one is still going strong.

### 5/5 — Awesome floor heat

*2025-10-17, version 1.11.4*

This product was easy to install and 2 years in is functioning perfectly!! Love it!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic support !

*2025-08-27, version 1.11.4*

In less than 24 hours a reported bug fixed

### 5/5 — Easy to use 100% reliable

*2025-01-11, version 1.11.2*

Works really well the at home / away temperatures are very easy to understand. Always works which is most important with heating. Would be better with improved estimated consumption features. Very happy overall

### 5/5 — Warmup 4IE Thermostat

*2024-12-18, version 1.11.2*

Fitted one of these in 2015 and have been very happy with it. Prior to purchase and installation of bathroom underfloor heating I made several calls to Warmup tech support and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The stat is fitted to my central heating and it does what says on the box perfectly, especially remotely with the app and I have just linked it to my Echo and it responds to voice control as well. My partner is so impressed that I am now fitting one to her house. I did a lot of research on remote stats and this was the most competitive at the time and has since come down in price. Good product, great value for money and an easy and helpful company to deal with.

### 5/5 — MyHeating App

*2024-10-30, version 1.11.2*

The new QR set up is a big improvement over the old 4iE code input method.
Programming is easy to understand and override system is pretty much instantaneous.
Yoi can here the element thermostat kick in straight away if you are in close proximity, even before the override shows on the app!

### 5/5 — Much improved.

*2023-02-03, version 1.9.3*

I’m not sure if it’s the overall improved usability or the fact that I’ve mastered the app, but I now genuinely like it compared to the previous iteration.

### 5/5 — Très bien

*2022-04-04*

Très facile d’utilisation et permet de gérer plus facilement la programmation et les modifications que sur le thermostat mural.

### 5/5 — Funktioniert super

*2020-02-16*

Bin sehr zufrieden. Bis jetzt funktioniert einwandfrei

### 5/5 — Prima

*2019-12-03*

Bis jetzt einwandfrei
