Please check back here tomorrow to see the updated results." It never works. I wrote the wrong thing in the wrong box, it wouldn’t let me go back, it wouldn’t let me delete. So I stopped and didn’t summit it. No matter what I did the wrong answers were locked in. I emailed. Nobody answers. I was offered a new kit complimentary, which was cool. However, the email stated I need to access the virtual assistant to provide my address for shipping said kit. Unfortunately, I was directed to a blank page when clicking on the provided link for the virtual assistant multiple times. Trying to contact support has been impossible-the phone number provided directs me to the support center on the website. When I attempted to resolve the issue in the support center the provided “answers” sent me in circles, unable to resolve my issue. I’m bummed because this kit was a gift and I worry my friend may have wasted her money for nothing. Please fix the customer service process so people can actually resolve issues like this. Paid for a dna kit and they have taken £109 from my account for family searches. This had been done sneakily. I want my money back ### 1/5 — Forced subscription *2026-08-18, version 7.6.7* When I ordered my kit and downloaded the app, I was forced to buy a subscription as a “trial” then it was never cancelled. Now I got charged a subscription fee for a whole year, I reported it and requested a refund but still didn’t get a response, and I still cannot cancel the subscription!!! I missed the email I got before getting charged and proceeded to get fully charged a large amount for annual fee with only 25% refunded which is a disappointing. It would have been nice to get a full refund especially being $520. They never notified my about the free trial ending and charged a crazy amount then were rude about it ### 1/5 — Be wary *2026-08-11, version 7.6.6* After the free trial, no reminder is sent, and the subscription fee is charged immediately. I requested a full refund because I don’t plan to use the service, and the representative offered me two options: a free DNA test or extending my subscription by six months and turning off automatic renewal. I rejected both options because I want a full refund and to close my account given their dishonesty. Not only did they not refund me, but they also never turned off the automatic renewal option. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2026-08-10, version 7.6.6* Thieves. Signed up a year ago and have just received an unsolicited invoice where the price has doubled, billed a year in advance.
