## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2025-12-26, version 2.1*

This app is garbage. Can we get an app that is not circa 1998

### 1/5 — Nothing Works

*2024-12-12, version 1.20*

This app does nothing. Tried to access my medical ID card, only to be told it couldn’t load. Nothing else worked for me, couldn’t search to find a provider either. Useless.

### 1/5 — Cannot upload any files

*2024-11-03, version 1.20*

I cannot upload claims using app or even on actual website. It’s super frustrating when it’s multiple claims ( it’s a lot of money) and I cannot be reimbursed quickly. I mailed in the superbills and still haven’t been reimbursed. It’d be nice if this would get fixed.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2024-03-21, version 1.20*

Just swirls and swirls only shows I have a plan. Can’t look up docs or find a doctor it just spins. Waste of space on my phone.

### 1/5 — Not mobile friendly - so what’s the point?

*2023-08-31, version 1.20*

You cannot read the EOBs. You cannot scroll the page to understand what you are looking at in the claims section. EOBs do not open. The only thing I use this for is to see my deductible status and I can barely do that. Do better.

### 1/5 — Terrible company

*2022-02-27, version 1.17*

HealthNow is a management company for self-insured plans, basically your employer doesn’t have insurance and are themselves paying for your medical costs. It’s a terrible company. I am not commenting on the app (which should not be on the AppStore as it is nothing more than a website) but the customer service is pathetic. As Michigan resident, every insurance company is required by law to provide a letter confirming if my plan is qualified or not for the purposes of auto accident coverage. HealthNow representatives confirmed to me every day, for two months, that I will get a letter “today”. Needless to say, such letter never arrived. I suffered $500 worth of damages due to HealthNow negligence. If your employer has selected HealthNow, do yourself a favor and shop for real insurance on the marketplace, you will thank me later.

### 1/5 — Much like the company the app has a lot issues

*2022-02-04, version 1.17*

The app is clunky and does not do what is expected. The find doctor button doesn’t work and isn’t settled for the app but for a desktop use. Use the desktop, less issues.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2022-01-24, version 1.17*

This all is one of the worst. Each time I open it I have to log in! How about facial recognition?

I can get my insurance card but can’t save it to my phones wallet which makes it a pain to use.

I think my other issue is about slow claims processing but that could be them, not the app.
