Formed in 1940, Holston Electric Cooperative is member-owned distributor of Tennessee Valley Authority power, providing service in Hawkins and Hamblen counties in rural upper East Tennessee. The headquarters building is located in Rogersville and branch offices are located in Church Hill and Russellville. Just like Holston Electric Cooperative (HEC), HolstonConnect is not-for-profit and a wholly-owned subsidiary of HEC that was formed in 2017 to provide advanced communication solutions like high-speed internet, telephone and television programming through a broadband fiber network to members in Hawkins and Hamblen counties.
