I don’t blame them, this app was not very intuitive. The skate pass only appears in your wallet AT the skate rink it’s linked to. So you must enter the skate rink and at the register open your app and make sure that this app has location permissions!! This won’t work if your location permissions are denied/off. After your location is on you go to your wallet and then it gives you option to redeem your pass for the skate session and only then does it appear in your wallet. Most of these reviews are years old but I hope this helps someone in the future. The app developers can def do better with how they relay the information to us. It took me twenty minutes to finally figure everything out. ### 3/5 — Glitchy *2025-03-03, version 3.2.50* So I can redeem my daughter's passes no problem. However, my son's passes are always an issue. It never showed up in the app. I reset my phone, re-installed the app but it never showed up. I emailed the company but have not heard back. I should dispute the charges. I’m not one to be upset easily but it it hard for me to be understanding about these issues when the app has poor reviews already, do better. ### 2/5 — Where is my promo I purchased?! *2024-07-04, version 3.1.5* App downloaded and I was able to sign up for an account but have not received any promo or vouchers that I purchased. ### 1/5 — App is non functional *2024-05-24, version 3.1.5* App is non functional and customer service is worse. I purchased a massage as a Mother’s Day present. I received a confirmation email from MyHound but did not receive a promotion code. Promotion did not show in App. I contacted the Spa and they stated “we are having a lot of problems with that app”! MyHound stated the promotion was redeemed but it was not. MyHound told me to contact the Spa and would not help resolve. Again MyHound said the promotion had been redeemed but it did not show in the “redeemed promo” tab. Poor app functionality and worse customer service. ### 1/5 — No Evidence of Legitimacy *2024-05-18, version 3.1.5* I am a bit ashamed I fell for this one. Clicked on the pop-up ad made to look like a legitimate deal from the verified, large company whose website I was shopping on. Gave them my credit card info when “booking” the professional massage for my wife. I was very tired late on a Friday night. By the time I downloaded the MyHownd app and signed up, there was no deal in the MyHownd wallet, and then it was too late. I realized there never was a time slot that I was asked for, and Google Chrome didn’t even trust the website enough to autofill my credit card info. What was I thinking? I immediately locked my credit card and reported as stolen. New cards en route. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-05-17, version 3.1.5* Purchased a skating membership. The passes never showed up in the app. I did not receive any emails with the passes. It looks like there used to be chat support but that has been disabled. I have emailed support multiple times and received no response. There is no reason to trust this app. They do not provide what is paid for and there is no way to contact customer support. ### 1/5 — Trash *2024-05-13, version 3.1.4* This app is absolutely garage. Doesn’t load, displays nothing and no help/contact us section. Useless is the only word I’d use to describe it that’s not related to waste. ### 1/5 — It’s a scam *2024-05-10, version 3.1.4* They ‘lose’ your deals, when providing the confirmation number they claim they don’t have it. Luckily my wife used hers like a day after I bought the message deal, but I just double paid because mine was missing from the app. SERIOUSLY ITS A SCAM! ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-05-07, version 3.1.4* Doesn’t stay logged in. When logged in, I can’t see any promotions around me or the gift card attached to my email. Truly useless ### 2/5 — Doesn’t sync *2024-05-04, version 3.1.4* Great idea, but terrible execution. The app doesn’t sync with your purchases. So you will end up buying something, in my case a putt putt package, before you go. Hoping to skip the line and get a discount. After you purchase the package, they want you to download myhownd to retrieve your purchase, but the app never recognizes your purchase. Great theory that didn’t work out in practice. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2024-04-25, version 3.1.4* Why is this app in the App Store? My goodness. Complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2024-04-20, version 3.1.4* Purchased gift card and followed ALL instructions. No gift card in wallet. Followed troubleshooting instructions that consisted of - restarting phone, ensuring app is up-to-date and ensuring iOS is up-to-date. lol did that same result. ### 1/5 — Feel like a scam *2024-04-01, version 3.1.4* I downloaded this app to sign up for a roller skating membership and as others have stated after numerous steps, the passes do not show up in the pass. The customer service keeps telling me they see the passes have generated and to re fresh and redownload the app. Which doesnt help. And I still do not have passes and the time I was going to use them for has long since passed. I have been dealing with this for nearly 2 weeks. ### 1/5 — Location services issue. *2024-03-27, version 3.1.3* I purchased a membership and haven’t been able to use it because of this horrible app. It says to turn on location services but through the settings functions on my phone, there is not an option for location services at all. I’ve emailed and emailed and emailed , no help is useful.
