Aber warum die App prinzipiell den vorletzten Standort verwendet, obwohl es den korrekten über die forcierte Lokalisierung sofort findet, ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Das Problem ist, dass damit der Routenplaner über die App unbrauchbar ist, weil der dann nicht vom aktuellen Standort starten wird. Wenn die App kostenlos wäre, würde ich das hinnehmen, aber bei einem Abomodell ist das schon ärgerlich. Auch ist der Funktionsumfang intransparent. Es müsste doch möglich sein, über die VIN einen Überblick über die verfügbaren Optionen zu bekommen, das sollte man vielleicht migrieren. Theoretisch sollte beispielsweise bei unserem Modell der elektronische Zündschlüssel verfügbar sein, das ist aber wohl doch nicht der Fall, bzw lässt er sich nicht aktivieren. Es kann aber auch nicht Zweck so einer App sein, dass man wegen solcher, eigentlich einfach zu lösenden Dinge, den Händler oder die Werkstatt konsultieren muss, oder eben verzichtet, dann könnte man auf die App auch ganz verzichten. Ich bin ein bisschen enttäuscht und hoffe auf Verbesserung. **Developer response:** Es tut uns leid, dass die Fahrzeugstandortanzeige die Routenplanung beeinträchtigt und die Funktionsverfügbarkeit für dein Fahrzeug nicht klar ist. Wir haben auch dein Feedback zu einer VIN-basierten Funktionsübersicht geteilt. ### 3/5 — Good app daft car software *2026-07-31, version 1.3.3* The app is handy although some of the bits are hidden away for me the most annoying feature is the ventilate feature where all the windows open slightly but then the alarm constantly goes off due to the interior sensor. The interior sensor can be disabled but you have to do it from the dash every time you turn the car Off. This and the fact the close windows doesn’t include the sunroof. Again the sunroof can only be opened or closed from the car. ### 3/5 — 900MB for clunky uninspired UX *2026-07-29, version 1.3.3* This app is almost 900MB. Which explains why it takes ages for the app to boot up. It’s a shame the app that goes with my £40k+ car does not have decent investment into a well made app. The UX is uninspired, I saw a tutorial vid from less than a year ago, in the US, show an app with an infinitely nicer dashboard and UI design. I want that app please. Edit: bumped my review up 1 star. Updates are happening, UI is changing. More features being introduced. Very happy to see the trajectory. Review still largely accurate re: slowness and plain-ness of UI. But things are improving. Why do I permanently have the error ‘the service is currently not available’? Which service is it talking about??? Why can I not see my service history as promised??? Update (7/26): To give credit to the developers they do appear to have been listening. The latest update of this app is far better than the one released in the spring. We appreciate your support and feedback. ### 3/5 — Ventilate option issue *2026-07-25, version 1.3.1* The ventilate option needs to also turn off the ultrasonic alarm detection system because as soon as the windows are open any breeze/air movement sets off the alarm. ### 4/5 — Deutlich übersichtlicher seit dem Update *2026-07-24* Die App bietet zwar viele wichtige Funktionen zur Fahrzeugsteuerung und Routenplanung, ist im Alltag jedoch unnötig kompliziert zu bedienen. Die Benutzeroberfläche wirkt verschachtelt, und man sucht oft zu lange nach alltäglichen Funktionen. Verbesserungsvorschläge für Hyundai: Personalisierbares Dashboard: Nutzer sollten die Möglichkeit haben, die Startseite anzupassen. Wer häufig den Ladestatus oder die Klimatisierung braucht, sollte diese Funktionen direkt oben fixieren können. Hierarchien vereinfachen: Tiefe Menü-Strukturen aufbrechen. Wichtige Telemetriedaten (wie Reichweite, Akkustand und SoC) sowie die Vorklimatisierung gehören prominent auf die erste Ebene. The old Bluelink app was a lot faster. ### 4/5 — Need help with remote temp control *2026-07-13, version 1.1.6* Hi , the app on my phone doesnt have remote start or temperature control option. Is there something i missed? I only lock dors/window, and couple more basic functions but cant maintain the temp or start the engine? The car i have is tucson, ulimate petrol-Phev registered 2023? Please advise. ### 3/5 — Could be so much better *2026-07-13* My impression of this app is that it was designed by committee and everyone was allowed to have something they wanted ; sometimes to get results rather than have a messy compromise you just need strong leadership! On a positive note most of the app is an improvement on the old one although the app is far from intuitive to use. My main major issue however is with the lack of being able to manage the address book. Other than being able to send a destination to the car (a great feature) there is no means to manage the car’s address book. Given how clunky, difficult, and time consuming it is to add address in the vehicle the lack of this feature is a major downside. **Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed feedback. We understand your concerns regarding address book management and have shared your feedback with the relevant team. ### 2/5 — Frustrating messages *2026-07-11, version 1.1.6* When this app works it’s good however when something doesn’t work it’s frustrating. Instead of the app telling you what the issue is eg can’t lock the doors/boot because a door/ the boot isn’t closed properly you get error ‘Check vehicle status’ or my personal favourite ‘Cannot start charging. Unexpected vehicle status’. Just tell em what the issue is and let me fix it. I’ve used other apps for other vehicles and MyHyundai is the only one that does this, the others tell you what the issue is. ### 1/5 — Nice idea but…. *2026-07-08, version 1.1.6* Could be useful. However: 1. No location feature 2. No clear status 3. No ability to disable the seriously annoying internal movement sensors. Most useful as the car regularly (daily) fails to lock using remote/ windows stay open even after buttons used to close them. If these things worked properly the app would basically be redundant. ### 2/5 — Charger failure beware *2026-07-08, version 1.1.6* MyHyundai crashed the API link that enabled my Ohme charger to communicate fully with my Kona as was previously available on Bluelink. This despite Ohme being described as “the official partner of Hyundai”. I want that app please. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Getting Worse *2026-08-02, version 1.3.3* The Old App allowed you to simply interrogate your car and receive current details. This seems tailored to charge car and sell you products. If you have a Charger of your own there is no need for the added items, the old one again was best in my mind. ### 1/5 — Gets worse with each update *2026-07-30, version 1.3.3* Almost useless app. Won’t even allow the privilege to link to Ohme charger despite the dealer recommending the brand for a home charger. ### 1/5 — New Update 1.3.0 Is Worse *2026-07-30* The image of the model of my car (Kona EV) is still greyed out on the Home and Vehicle tabs, even though support says they know what the issue is and will fix it for new update but alas, no change. The new remote buttons are not like the previous version, where you keep your finger on the button for a few seconds before it activates/deactivates. Now, you only have to very lightly touch it and it activates. This is not good, because I accidentally brushed the Climate On button to view the EV section and my climate control was activated and I’m not even using my car this week. Just as well I noticed the Message Sent Notification. A major step backwards and no fix on my car image as advised. The former app was far better. Like another reviewer said, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Updated review due to relied comment. 1. Blue Link already have the necessary information but as I stated, they know what the problem is and are trying to find a solution - albeit extremely slow. 2. I have tried the PIN authentication as you suggested but it makes no difference. You can still activate; Climate, Unlock, Lock etc WITHOUT putting in your 4 digit PIN. **Developer response:** We apologise for the continued inconvenience with the vehicle image display and the changes to remote button behaviour following the recent update. We have noted that PIN authentication was enabled but did not prevent accidental command activation. Still never connects. Still random location and other data. Genuinely can’t believe how consistently awful the app has been for years now. Utterly pathetic. AVOID. ### 1/5 — Latest app update *2026-07-28, version 1.3.3* Thanks for the update… VERY disappointed that you now make me pay for the basic function of remotely changing the battery charging limit via a SUBSCRIPTION. I had previously used the function as the in car screen option is hard work, not particularly intuitive AND I keep forgetting the path to the required screen 🙁 ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2026-07-27, version 1.3.2* Buttons now look budget! Vehicle status hardly ever works. Shocking. You cannot rely on any info being correct as it will more often than not be out of date so you end up believing it and having to go to the car anyway to check. Seit heute sehe ich wieder die korrekte Fahrzeugabbildung und ich bin mir der App sehr zufrieden. Originalrezension: Seit dem Update auf 1.3.0 wird mir kein Bild meines Fahrzeugs mehr angezeigt. Ich sehe lediglich die graue Fahrzeug-Silhouette die als Platzhalter dient. Andererseits finde ich die erneute Möglichkeit sein Fahrzeug auf der Karte zu Orten wiederum super. However! This new version brings back some of the look and style of old app. Huge improvement enabling quick and easy access to menus and control the car remotely.
