Plays the same songs over and over. I wish I could take this app out and smash it like they do the printer in Office Space. I was trying to use it at a bowling alley and it ruined my entire experience. It fools you into thinking that you have control over the music but you don’t. ### 1/5 — The worst app ever *2018-05-18* This is my first ever app review. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this app is so bad I felt compelled. In order to use it you have to share songs with all of your friends on Facebook before they’ll play it. Well, I’m done with Facebook so that doesn’t work for me. First download app then share location then only sign in using facebook then verify via the email you provided only to then log in and pay $1 per song what?! **Developer response:** Hi Tbgm! Thank you for using myJAM, we appreciate your feedback! Sorry to hear that you were not happy that you would have to purchase a Play with your credit card. This is unfortunately a requirement imposed by the music owners, not our app. Paying for songs to play in a public venue like old school Jukeboxes is just our reality. If you don't want to hear your song immediately, we suggest using the Thumbs Up/Down feature which is free and will still allow you to influence the Venue's Playlist. The app won't process my cc as it says "can't process". Good idea, horrible execution. ### 1/5 — A waste! *2016-09-09, version 3.6.0* This is the worst app ever! You HAVE TO sign in through Facebook and then even though it says you get unlimited plays it makes you PAY for them if you want to hear them! Guess you wanted to dislike a different song. Wondering what’s playing? Here’s what was playing five songs ago. Want to play a song you like? Hope you know at least one other person who also wants to play that song. At least I can get a song to play sometimes. ### 1/5 — MyJam App is a SCAM - Don’t fall for it! *2020-01-04* This app is a complete false advertisement. The user interface is horrible, there is no option to select the song you want to be played. The app requires you to like the song and to be shared on your Facebook page, it doesn’t work. This app is fundamentally flawed. That is, even if the app was willing to work long enough to post to Facebook. I would literally rather spend money to play a song I’ve heard a million times than spend hours fighting this free app. I can’t ask for my money back and I can’t ask for my wasted energy back so I guess I’ll just ask for an apology from the developer. ### 1/5 — Needs a change *2018-12-13, version 5.0.4* Needs a better system like pay for more songs, not enough selection especially in small town bars, also needs a serious music update some of the most popular artists/songs aren’t on here and makes it frustrating to find enjoyable music in a place that only runs this app no jukebox. ### 1/5 — Bad app. Don’t download. *2018-12-01* Bad song selection. You can’t choose songs, you can only “upvote” a preset selection of milquetoast garbage. Constantly posts your activity to Facebook if you sign in using your account. Basically a way for bowling alleys and bars to get out of the jukebox dilemma. The people writing negative reviews are most likely using it at venues where the system just wasn’t set up correctly. Also, if you request for a song that isn’t on the default playlist, it requires 2 or more people to vote on it.
