### 2/5 — App Won’t Open

*2026-03-06*

I would love to use the app because I have a defibrillator but when I open the app, all it does is spin and spin and spin and never opens. I’ve tried to delete it and then reinstall it, but I cannot use it whatsoever.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t sync with Apple Health

*2025-09-04, version 2.24.0*

Apple Health doesn’t even know that I have a loop recorder. It should.

### 2/5 — Manage Your Expectations

*2025-09-02*

This app only shows you a very limited amount of information from your ICD or ICM. It doesn’t connect to the implanted device and therefore it can’t monitor your device or be used to modify your device in any way. Once your very large, very slow, very not bluetooth implanted device spends 10-15 slowly downloading data to your communicator, then it is transmitted to the clinic. After that data has been analyzed, four data points are sent to this app. The battery life of the device (not detailed just that it’s normal), the status of the last report, and two other data points I can’t remember and aren’t worth taking the time to mention. I have it installed, but I’m thinking of uninstalling it. I can get more detailed information from the device clinic on a 6 month follow up than what this “app” shows to you.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you would like to discuss this further with someone at Boston Scientific, please call Boston Scientific Patient Services at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

### 2/5 — Not very useful

*2024-07-27*

The app doesn’t tell you much. Other companies give the user readouts from the device. More information should be added

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are continually working to add features and improve the MyLATITUDE™ App.

### 1/5 — What Good is the App???

*2024-04-25, version 2.24.0*

The app never works… continuously thinks or spins (loading and never loads!) When and IF it works the info is super minimal and wrong. Is my pacemaker any better than your app? Sure hope so🤦🏻‍♀️

### 2/5 — Can’t open the app

*2024-03-25, version 2.24.0*

It keeps spinning and loading. App is useless. Not even sure if it’s doing anything because I can’t even get into the app.

### 2/5 — My latitude app

*2024-03-08, version 2.24.0*

Yes a big waste of time. I want to see what my information is.

### 1/5 — Waste

*2023-12-13, version 2.24.0*

App is worthless only thing it does is monitor battery.

### 1/5 — Waste of an app

*2023-10-19, version 2.24.0*

It use to tell me when my last upload was and the status of it. Now the only thing it shows is how to set up the base station

### 2/5 — Pretty worthless

*2023-09-23*

This App has little value. It essentially provides only the same information already provided in the manuals that come with the unit. Hopefully, in the future it will be substantially enhanced, given that it has access to actual, real time patient data.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you would like to discuss this further with someone at Boston Scientific, please call Boston Scientific Patient Services at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

### 1/5 — Not a useful app. Could be better!

*2023-06-20*

Not a useful app. Only informs if your device is working and battery is operating. Wish this app allowed you to transmit data as well as view the data. In this day and age, patient shouldn’t have to always be near a clunky device. Please consider using the app to be the transmitter of of data with some useful feedback.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We'll pass it along to the MyLATITUDE™ App team.

### 1/5 — Won’t load

*2023-01-31, version 2.24.0*

When I open the app it just spins, I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling

### 1/5 — App does not work

*2022-09-22, version 2.24.0*

iPhone 11
Latest iOS
App just spins the gear icon
Unresponsive
FDA should fine B S for faulty software
Time for a 483 on this app!!

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2022-07-11, version 2.23.0*

App just spins and never opens. Has been doing this for months. All my other apps work fine.

### 1/5 — Not very helpful

*2022-05-22*

I don't know what the app is supposed do? It doesn’t even update until my 3 month at home appointment, an it has the wrong date on the app for that appointment, so it it doesn’t even update once my actual appointment gets here, then when the day the app thinks my appointment is , it updates on that day, wish they would put more helpful information on the app, like some other pacemaker apps have, like how many years left on your battery, your pacing percentage, my pacemaker clinic doesn’t offer any information on those things, it helps put my mind at ease knowing this information, but its not offered to me, an if i ask at my pacemaker clinic for that info, the nurse gets her panties in a wad, this app just takes up my phone memory for nothing, id keep it, if it would offer information or something, but it just does nothing except for drag my phone memory down , is there anyway, u could fix the app to offer the information ?

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you would like to discuss this further with someone at Boston Scientific, please call Boston Scientific Patient Services at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

### 1/5 — Please show data

*2022-03-31*

Was prompted to download the app to see data regarding my ICD. App shows last transmission and next scheduled transmission with three green categories. Would like to see much more data if possible such as a battery meter (like a fuel gauge), pacing percentages, max and heart rate, and therapy count.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are continually working to add features and improve the MyLATITUDE™ App.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very underwhelming

*2026-02-10, version 2.25.0*

App doesn’t do anything useful. It should be providing you with important data from the CRT directly but it doesn’t. Medtronic’s app does. Wish I knew that before going with Boston Scientific.

### 1/5 — Maintenance?

*2025-07-29, version 2.24.0*

Maintenance has been going on for weeks. Is the app being discontinued or replaced?

### 1/5 — Quit working

*2025-04-30, version 2.24.0*

With as little information that this app gave me, it’s no big deal to just remove it from my iPhone. Crazy that a company like Boston Scientific can’t afford competent programmers to properly code an app. It did work last year then just stopped working. Rebooting the phone, reinstalling the app did not help. Should have insisted on Medtronics device.

### 1/5 — Try harder

*2025-04-03, version 2.24.0*

People are interested in as much data as possible. This app provides none.

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2025-03-13, version 2.24.0*

This app hasn’t worked in months! No updates?

### 1/5 — Doesnt even load

*2024-12-21, version 2.24.0*

Can’t even open the app.

### 1/5 — App hasn’t worked for me for months, can’t get in contact with anyone.

*2024-12-14*

The app doesn’t load for me. Hasn’t in a long time. I’m not computer illiterate either, I’m very tech-y. I’ve updated the app, done a full reset of my phone (hard and soft resets), downgraded iOS, upgraded iOS, uninstalled/reinstalled, and nothing helped.

It stopped working after an update months ago, and hasn’t worked since. The loading screen pops up and it just says “loading” forever. Never actually loads. I’ve actually kept it up “loading” overnight for like a full 8 hours just to see if it would *eventually* work and it didn’t lol.

I’ve called the 1-800 help line, emailed Latitude support, talked to my doctor, talked to the Boston Scientific rep at my pacing appointments, and none have been able to help.

You’d think that with a $100,000 device in my chest, the company would hire competent developers and support.

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear about your experience with the MyLATITUDE™ App. If you are still having issues, please connect with our Patient Services team at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

### 1/5 — app

*2024-12-12, version 2.24.0*

app doesn’t load upon opening.

### 1/5 — App not opening yellow light flashing on device

*2024-11-23, version 2.24.0*

First time I’ve ever needed this and it doesn’t OPEN

### 1/5 — Come on Boston Scientific

*2024-11-09*

If you cannot figure out how to make an quality app that monitors the health, productivity and battery longevity of my ICD. I’m really worried about how my ICD is manufactured. This app has not changed since my first device. I hope your ICDs have changed or I’m in big trouble.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you would like to discuss this further with someone at Boston Scientific, please call Boston Scientific Patient Services at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app and smart concept

*2023-01-29*

This app works great! I have been implanted with Boston Scientific’s S-ICD and it has already saved my life twice in the last 2 years. So nothing but gratitude to you folks.

### 5/5 — Great product

*2021-06-09, version 2.16.1*

Boston scientific makes amazing products

### 5/5 — Easy to Use!

*2021-04-21*

I love that I didn’t have to call customer service to help set up my communicator. It was easy to follow and saved me time!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! We’re glad to hear the MyLATITUDE Patient App has worked well for you.

### 5/5 — Peace of mind

*2019-06-12*

It is great to be able to provide peace of mind to family when who live far away that my grandmothers monitor is working appropriately and to know when her data has sent to the physician!

### 4/5 — Offload app and reload

*2025-04-23*

Did not load on iPhone 16e with iOS 18.4.1. Worked fine when offloaded then reloaded

(Worked fine on iPhone XR)

**Developer response:** We appreciate the feedback and have forwarded it to our product team. Boston Scientific is always trying to improve the patient experience.

### 4/5 — Overall, a great app!

*2024-06-26*

The only downside to the app is that is doesn’t provide a direct readout of your data. You could get this info from your doctor or from MyChart, but why it isn’t included in the app is something I would like to understand.

The fact that there is a separate tab for just the Indicator Lights is something that should earn the app developers a perpetual yearly bonus for the rest of their lives. So many apps miss this simple mark, and don’t cater directly to the end user. I really can’t commend the app’s developers enough for having the insight to include this, as the largest percentage of users that will download this app will be doing so just to decipher their Indicator Lights, because searching for them online is a fool’s errand. If you’ve misplaced your manual, and want to understand why your lights are on, get this app, and click ‘LIGHTS’.

**Developer response:** We appreciate the feedback and have forwarded it to our product team. Boston Scientific is always trying to improve the patient experience.

### 4/5 — Latitude app

*2021-07-28, version 2.19.0*

All around ok but leaves off the most important thing, battery life left!

### 3/5 — No functional use

*2025-01-03*

The app has NO functional use! It tells you what the lights mean, which is redundant to the instructions already given. I don’t understand why it doesn’t provide any useful information

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. If you would like to discuss this further with someone at Boston Scientific, please call Boston Scientific Patient Services at 1-866-484-3268; Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t do much

*2021-02-22*

Got new cellular communicator and set up per instructions with no problem. Downloaded this app which indicates I’m connected. That’s it. No interesting info. App works but doesn’t do much.

### 3/5 — Money out?

*2020-05-05, version 2.4.0*

Did Medicare pay for this machine and all communications?
Having hard time getting hold of Medicare
Want to be sure it costs me nothing since Dr ordered this
