It’s a 15 mile round trip for nothing. Wasted time & gas. I used to go weekly, but now I go only once or twice a month. I recommended LIDL to all my friends & club members… when it first opened. Last week I went on Friday afternoon & the breaded Alaskan pollack was out of stock or didn’t come. A 33.8 Oz. Bag for $5.29. There were 18.3 Oz bags there for $5.29. There was no space where the bigger bags would have been & no sale sign. And when I check the app for coupons & rewards, it asks for a promo code, there is none & no one knows how or where to get a promo code. When I qualified for a promotion for $10 off a $100 + offer, I spent over $100 & it only took $3.67 off my order! The LIDL products are all good, there is great selection for a small store, which I like, it’s easier to shop in. There are good buys, but it’s getting increasingly more aggravating to go & find half the things I went for are out of stock or never came in. ### 2/5 — Weekly flyer layout *2026-06-08, version 2.55.0* The way that the weekly flyer is laid out with multiple pages is very annoying to go through for information ### 3/5 — Use outside USA *2026-05-29, version 2.55.0* I travel often out of the States to Europe, Spain specifically, I haven’t be able to use the app. I was told to download the App for Spain but my phone and my Apple ID are from USA Region. Yes,Lidl used to be foreign but now a household name. Over the last few months, the app has not been available every-time I enter the store. The app’s constant need to validate my full name, email, phone number, and zip at every visit is frustrating. Especially when more frequently than not, after entering all that information, the join button that gets triggers after I acknowledge the TOS, fails to capture the form. This makes using the app in the store, or any applications in the store, not possible. I have had to go outside after leaving my cart in the aisle to get a connection via cellular to view specials, update my shopping list, etc. just make the WiFi public. We need to use the app to access coupons and specials, so any further data harvesting by having to sign in at every visit is just a frustration.
