Even if just for the notifications alone! I’ve only ever received useful notifications from this app! Whether it’s road closures, accidents or power outages in Dunedin, I always feel like I have an inside scoop on the news, and what roads and places to avoid if it’s busy or shut. During the COVID pandemic I was pushed notifications for alert level updates, number of cases nation wide etc. and never felt like I had to go hunt for the information, it was just a nice little notification that this app pushed to me. I’ve never had an app that hasn’t sent me useless notifications. My Little Local is the first one to just send me helpful stuff. Worth downloading just for that reason alone! Very slow to load and you have to wait for it to download every notification and then it takes you back to previous screen.
