### 2/5 — Where is my data?

*2019-08-05, version 1.3.0*

I got this app to track and trend my beginning hot flashes. It was doing fine for a week and then all my data was gone. So
I recorded two before bed, checked that they were there, and in the morning they were gone. I emailed the support group and have heard nothing back in a week.

### 2/5 — Good start but not a good enough app

*2018-08-25, version 1.1.1*

Was really happy to find this but it falls short of what it could be. Love the real-time recording of a hot flash but if you can’t record it at the moment, I see no way to record the time it happened—just morning, afternoon or evening. Also, once saved, there is no way to edit it. I am trying to track how often I have them so this is a huge problem for what I wanted.

As other people have noted, also no way to track what you are doing when you have one or the symptoms that occur with one: I sometimes have anxiety and/or palpitations. So it’s a good start but not nearly as helpful as I had hoped.

**Developer response:** Hi there! Thank you for your comments and suggestions, there really helpful for Luna Team. Now you can edit it in a daily way and you can write notes as well. Please stay tune for new features.
Have a great day!
Luna Team

### 3/5 — Good Hot Flash Tracker

*2018-04-17, version 1.1.1*

I started having hot flashes a month ago and this is the only app that I could find to track my hot flashes. I am very pleased with this tracking mechanism. This is working very well for me. I had hoped that I would be able to more clearly see trends and intraday patterns of the hot flashes and any other related symptoms or activities that I record for the period. Maybe I don’t understand how to get to this reporting.
Overall, very good app to record hot flashes.

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you for your comments. Please stay tuned for new features in Luna App.
Best regards.

### 3/5 — Label my flashes

*2018-02-09, version 1.1.1*

I’m new to the app so just trying it out but noticed that there is no way to write in what I was doing when a hot flash started. Was I in bed? Was I doing my violin lesson? Was I at my computer? I think data like this may begin to help me see a pattern. I really would like to see a place for comments as I time and save each hot flash. Can you help with that? I was just looking for a simple app that would track time, date, severity and activity of each flash. If it had that this app would get 5 stars for ease of use and simplicity.

**Developer response:** Hi there! Have you tried our last version of Luna App? Now you can write notes in every hot flash and now you can see a pattern. Check it out and stay tune for the new features. Have a great day!
Luna Team.

### 1/5 — Apple Watch App Not Working

*2022-08-25, version 2.3.0*

I started with this app because of the ability to connect to my Apple Watch. I have the most updated Watch OS and it still won’t connect. Says I need to sign into app, which I am. Deleted this app. Too many bugs. Would love to use it but without the Watch integration it is impossible to track accurately since my phone is not accessible 24/7. Would love this to be fixed!

**Developer response:** Can you tell me what is the model of your iPhone, its iOS version along with the model of your apple watch and its version please

### 1/5 — does not work with apple watch

*2022-08-20, version 2.3.0*

i don’t always carry my phone with me, so it would be much more convenient for me to track hot flashes on my watch. this app is supposed to have that capability, but on my watch i always get the message, ‘you need to log in to the phone app first,’ even though i am logged into the phone app. i have contacted customer service twice for help, but i have yet to hear from anyone, hence the one star review.

**Developer response:** Can you tell us what is the model of your iPhone, its iOS version along with the model of your apple watch and its version please

### 1/5 — Log in

*2020-07-20, version 2.0.0*

It does not keep the app open. Every month I am forced to log back in and hope that I remember the password!!

### 1/5 — Buggy and can not retrieve data entered

*2020-06-03, version 2.0.0*

The concept, interface and use cases are wonderful. However, the implementation is bad! Super buggy, and I can not retrieve my actual data from 2 days ago. It graphs the collected data but details are presented for anything beyond the previous day.

I had high hopes for this. So many other apps have failed. Why is it so hard to build a simple tracker?

### 1/5 — Will not allow me to register

*2019-12-18, version 2.0.0*

I tried two different emails and I can’t get past the registration screen. I follow the instructions and went to email received to link to verify. When I clicked the link it said email already registered. I’ve tried with two separate email addresses and I get the same problem. I refuse to sign up through Facebook. I will be deleting this app. It’s a shame because it seemed like the most user-friendly menopause app. There isn’t even a customer support number or email to contact with log-in issues.

### 1/5 — “Refresh token not found” error

*2018-12-16, version 1.2.0*

It was working great for a while but now I cannot save any hot flashes. All my previous data is gone. I get the above error message any time I try anything - even trying to log out to try logging in again.

Update. I have the newest version and am still getting internal server error and it will not save any info, including my profile info.

**Developer response:** Hi Newhoudl, thank you for your comment. Please try the last version, tune up to our updates and don't miss anything.
Best Regards,

Update. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this incident. The issue has already solved, and no data is lost. Thank you for using Luna!

### 1/5 — Does work

*2017-09-15, version 1.0.2*

Used it for three days recorded every hot flash and then all the info was gone. Said error can not format. So frustrated 😡

### 2/5 — No support, can’t access my data

*2023-01-03, version 2.4.0*

I got this in order to have data about my hot flashes. I can record them, but can only export “to your doctor.” When I put my own info to export to it doesn’t allow me to make an account. Also, it won’t allow me to report hot flashes from the previous day. Tried to contact Luna support but no answer. This app appears to have been abandoned.

**Developer response:** We have updated to a new version. 2.4.2, if you still have problems, tell us the model of your device and its iOS version

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2022-02-03, version 2.2.2*

There’s a lot of potential here but app needs refining. I like that it’s just a tracker of symptoms but it needs more options. It’s the only app I’ve found that lets you record duration of hot flashes. That’s why I stick with it but could use some work.

**Developer response:** Bridgit,

My apologies for the late answer. We are undertaking a series of changes, so your input is very valuable. Which additional options would you suggest?

### 2/5 — No support

*2019-08-09, version 1.3.0*

Great idea. Needs work. No support.
There’s an option to enter the length of hot flashes and personal notes on each hot flash record, but they disappear daily. All I get after the day’s entry is a graphic of the total number, without supporting details of timing or my personal notations of circumstances. Email for assistance in locating them, if they even exist after one day, got no response.

### 5/5 — UPDATE: Loving app again

*2020-07-14, version 2.0.0*

Up until today (7/10/20) I was loving the app and using regularly to log hot flashes. But today I tried to log a hot flash and the app asked me to login which it has never done in the past. So I logged in and got the following error message:

JSON could not be serialized because of error: The data could not be read because it isn’t in the correct format.
My email and password are correct bc I have it saved in a password manager. But in any case, desperate to log my hot flash, I attempted to reset my password and got the same error message.

This worries me bc I use this app to report on my hot flashes to my oncologist and now it’s not working. I’ve been using this app for quite some time and I am worried that by not having access to it I will lose all the history.

I sent an email to the app makers and it said someone would get back to me in 48hrs. Hope to hear from someone.

UPDATE: Totally loving the app again now that it’s working. The developers are really responsive which is nice. Haven’t had an issue since the fixed the app on 7/11/20. One day turnaround that’s impressive.

### 4/5 — Can’t log a flash from my phone

*2023-06-20*

I have an iphone 11pro using iOS - 16.5 and an Apple Watch Series 4 using iOS 9.5.1 and I’m having the same issue as many others. When I try to log a hot flash from my watch it says I need to log in on my phone; but I am.
What needs to be done to use this function?

### 4/5 — Love it and would love it more on the watch.

*2022-07-21, version 2.2.2*

I love recording my live hot flashes buy would love to be able to do it on the watch. Or if the temperature would immediately activate it or send an alarm.

### 4/5 — Getting There

*2019-01-11, version 1.2.0*

I LOVE the updates. Would there be a way to remind me that I’ve started recording a hot flash? I start the timer and then leave the app to do something else and forget to come back.

An average 2-3 minute pop-up reminder like, “Hey! Is your inner child still playing with matches?” or “How’s the personal summer going?” would help me to go back and stop the timer.

**Developer response:** You have a point here, as hot flashes might unfortunately last several minutes. In addition the 2 messages you are suggested are really fantastic and with your permission we will use them; to summarize, we will add your suggested feature to our product, but we need to schedule its development with the team. It might take a few months before you see it, as we are embarked into the development of a major new feature, so please stay tuned!

### 4/5 — Helpful App; One Enhancement Request

*2018-12-20, version 1.2.0*

I started getting hot flashes 2 months ago and they are progressing in frequency and intensity. So I began tracking with a clicker which was not very helpful. I found this app which records the length of each episode and the intensity level. You can also edit episodes and add them later. Because I always have my phone with me, this app makes a lot of sense. One enhancement that would be nice is a daily totals report. I’d like to easily know how many episodes I’m having each day and be able to also view daily history. I believe the app has a weekly total, but a daily report listing would be an appreciated addition!
An added benefit would be to sync with Apple Watch!!!

**Developer response:** Glad to hear that you like Luna. You can already access your daily (weekly and monthly too) totals from the trends section, at the bottom of your home screen. In addition, if you subscribe our premium version, you will be able to export summaries as PDF and share them with your doctor. Thanks again for using Luna!

### 4/5 — Crashed

*2017-09-15, version 1.0.2*

LOVED this app till it crashed today and lost 3 weeks of my data!!!! PLEASE fix it! Trending was really helping me identify patterns of my hot flashes.

**Developer response:** Hi 12sweat! First of all, sorry for the inconvenience. We will do our best to address your issue in a timely fashion. In order to identify our problem, we need to know you email address or username. Can you please share it privately at luna@bluetrailsoft.com? Thank you! The Luna Team

Best regards,
Luna Team

### 3/5 — Watch & Widget function doesn’t work

*2023-06-22*

I have an iphone 11pro using iOS - 16.5.1 and an Apple Watch Series 4 using iOS 9.5.1 and I’m having the same issue as many others. When I try to log a hot flash from my watch it says I need to log in on my phone; but I am logged in. The other issue is I get a pop up suggesting I add a widget, however, there’s no widget available. I don’t always have my phone near me when I get a hot flash and having the ability to log it from my watch would be really helpful. I also sent an email 4 days ago and have not received a response (just the auto generated ‘we received your email and will get back to you’.
What needs to be done to use these functions?

### 3/5 — Hard to get to

*2020-08-11, version 2.1.0*

The functionality of the app Is good but when I’m busy and don’t have my phone readily available to track a hot flash, it makes it difficult.

If there was someway that they could integrate it with the Apple Watch that would be great.

### 3/5 — Very simple

*2019-10-25, version 1.3.2*

Just got the app and upgraded. So far it is a very simple app. Articles are very clinical.
Wish there was a way to connect w a community of other women.
Maybe u can add that. So far not to impressed, but I will hang in there a little longer since I just got the app.

### 3/5 — Good, could use refinement

*2018-12-30, version 1.2.0*

I have been using this app for five days. Downloaded it desperate to track frequent hotflashes. Love the real time and record past flashes functions. Also like the meal recording, but it’s disappointing that I’m forced to check a box for “sugary, fatty, high carb”, etc. — if I don’t, I get an error and the meal won’t post. Why is it assumed that my food choices are poor? Maybe I am eating healthy meals! It would be good to be able to either not check a box, or have the option “none of these.”

Also related to options—I’d like to be able to choose more than one mood for a day. Sometimes life is a mixed bag!

This is still an pretty good app I still plan to use it because it is the only one I found for both Hotflashes and periods.

**Developer response:** Hello, we're very glad that you're enjoying Luna! Thank you for your suggestions, please stay tuned for new features in Luna. Best regards.
