What's new in 1.5.4:

Emergency Dispatch
- Smarter fallback for medical emergencies: if your nearest hospital or ambulance provider doesn't answer, LyfeLine now automatically routes you to your county's own ambulance service, then to national ambulance dispatch (922), and finally to Kenya Red Cross as a last resort — so you're never left without an option.

Sign In
- Sign in with Apple or Google in one tap — faster and no password to remember. Email and password sign-in is still available if you prefer it.

Payments
- Fixed an issue where M-Pesa payments could get stuck on "check your phone" even after you'd already completed the payment on your end.
- Added support for paying your LyfeLine subscription directly via M-Pesa Paybill, in addition to the in-app payment prompt.

Reliability & Stability
- Numerous under-the-hood improvements to account sign-in, subscription accuracy, and emergency alert delivery, especially on slower or unstable network connections.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-07-02

Bug fixes to the watch connection, and also updating maps to use an alternate Maps provider instead, addressing complaints of a lack of information density from the alternative. MyLyfeLine now connects with the Opus system. LyfeLine Opus will allow you to be safer by connecting your emergency details directly to the relevant emergency service providers, maximizing the amount of help you'll get in the case you utilize MyLyfeLine for emergencies.

We've also refined the UI in the flood warnings menu and made some changes to the functionality of the emergency system. Now, when you trigger an emergency, there will be a notification that is persistent on the dynamic island for iPhones 14 Pro and above using live activities. We will now be introducing in-app notifications from your emergency triggers, notifying your emergency contacts within LyfeLine with or without an internet connection.

And bug fixes on the MyLyfeLine vitals system with the intermittent connection bug reported on the Apple Watch. Refinements have been made to the crash detection system. Now there are minimized accidental triggers and also passkey availability for the MyLyfeLine app.
