My first attempt was “shock to the heart and you’re too” but then I googled and realized the actual lyrics were “shot through the heart and you’re to blame.” I still got no response. Then I tried “Here it is, a groove, slightly transformed.” The app just searched. It wasn’t until I typed “don’t tell my heart” that I had any luck. I’ll keep testing and may review later but if it can’t find those......maybe it only works for current music. I’ll keep trying....maybe. ### 1/5 — My Lyrics *2018-04-26* What a rip off!!!! You pay for the app, then there is an additional 99 cent charge to search for over 4 titles.. and that seems to be limited to 8. This app will fail but probably only after a lot of people get ripped!!! I just bought it less than half hour ago and I am deleting it right now.. Finding music never been so easy. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not great. *2022-06-04* This app was horrible, for me at least it didn’t actually work I typed in a lot of lyrics and nothing happened it just glitched they brought me to a new screen which did nothing either horrible. **Developer response:** Thank you for trying it and for telling us what happened, and we are sorry it wasted your time. Typing in lyrics and getting nothing back is the one thing this app has to get right. It has since been rebuilt from the ground up and the newest version shipped this week, so it is worth another try if you are willing. Either way, we appreciate the honest review. ### 1/5 — My money down the drain *2022-03-24* Says it's better than Shazam Costs money, in-app purchases, doesn't recognize song, crashes **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry, both for the crashes and for the confusion. To be clear about what it does: this app searches by the words you remember, so it is for the song stuck in your head hours later rather than one playing in the room, which is what Shazam is for. That distinction should have been obvious before you paid, and it was not. The app has since been rebuilt from the ground up. If you would like a refund, Apple handles those at reportaproblem.apple.com. Thank you for taking the time. ### 1/5 — My lyrics *2020-07-14* Downloaded and under the search function, the keyboard will not load. Hard to type in any lyrics without the keyboard. **Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this, and we are sorry. A search box that will not summon the keyboard makes the app completely unusable, and you were right to say so. It has since been rebuilt from the ground up in the current version, so that particular failure is gone. We are grateful you described the exact symptom rather than just calling it broken. ### 1/5 — Google faster *2019-08-08, version 5.1* Not impressed. Typed in “Jenny I got your” and the app is searching for over 2 min. Put that into google and less than 1 sec got the song and YouTube link. You pay $3.99 to get only 4 limited songs that were found. You have to pay 99 cents more to get more findings. It needs a feature where you hold it up to a speaker and listens to the song so that you can learn the title. It also has frequent pop ups about getting more findings. Not worth it. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-01-11* I don't like this app AT ALL! I wanted Soundsational, but Apple doesn't offer it unfortunately. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. More than 95% of the time it is able to find the lyrics to it. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for this, and for coming back to the app over the years. Finding the old song you can only half remember is exactly what it was built for, so hearing that it works for you almost every time is the nicest thing you could have told us.
