## What is MyMacros?

A calorie and macro tracker that doesn't make logging feel like a second job.

Scan a barcode, search the food database (Australian foods included), or take a photo of your plate and let the app estimate what's on it. Most meals take a few seconds to log.

You get the numbers that matter: calories, protein, carbs and fat at a glance, plus sugars, fibre, sodium and micronutrients when you want to dig in. Set your goals and watch the bars fill up through the day. Water tracking is in there too, by the cup, ml or litre.

The Trends page shows how you're actually going over weeks and months: every nutrient charted, your weight against your goal, and your steps and active calories pulled in from Apple Health.

Eat the same breakfast most days? Save it as a meal and log it in one tap.

MyMacros is free for food logging, barcode scanning and up to 10 saved meals. Plus removes the limits and opens up the full Trends page. Pro also unlocks MyRecipes, our recipe app, so you can log your own recipes by the serving or by weight. New accounts get 14 days of Pro free, no card needed.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-14

Try Pro free for 14 days
• New members can start a 14-day free trial of Pro right after setup — the full experience, cancel anytime before it ends and you won't be charged. Or carry on with the free plan.
• Trial reminders: a heads-up 3 days before your trial ends, in the app and by email.

Logging
• Log a shared food straight to a meal: when a friend shares a food with you, pick breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack as you save it.
• A friendly nudge to log your first meal, with a shortcut to the AI scanner.

Trends
• New Lean mass card and history, pulled from Apple Health where available.
• Serving sizes now show grams alongside, e.g. "1 serving (320 g)".
• Your own recipes appear in search when you build a meal.

Fixes
• The welcome tour now shows once per account, so a family member signing in on your phone gets their own.
• Fixes for the goals setup appearing twice, and several smaller polish items.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-26

Your diary just got a memory.

NEW
- Log history: recipes, meals and foods show when you last logged them. Tap to see every date and jump straight to that day in your diary (Plus).
- Same as last time: logging a recipe pre-fills the portion and meal you used last.
- Share any food: long-press a food in your diary to send it to family - they get your exact numbers, barcode matching included.
- Quick portions: a - / + stepper on recent foods logs 2 or 3 of something in a couple of taps.
- My Meals and MyRecipes now open right inside food logging.

IMPROVED
- Search puts the best match first - "chicken breast" now finds chicken breast, not chicken-flavoured noodles.
- Body fat charts fixed across the 1M, 3M and 1Y views, and Health imports are sanity-checked.
- Saving a recipe without a cooked weight now explains that grams logging needs one.

FIXED
- The keyboard always goes away now.
- Portion steppers update the number on screen as you tap.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-17

A big one — quality-of-life everywhere:

• Share a food — send any of your own products to a friend with a link. It saves into their foods with full nutrition, and scanning the barcode brings up your numbers on their phone too.
• Streak badges — earn pins at 1 week, 1 month, 6 months and a full year, with a little celebration every 7 days along the way.
• Fixed streak freezes being spent on days you had fully logged. Any freezes wrongly used have been returned.
• "Recently logged" now remembers your foods forever — favourites no longer drop off the list after a few weeks.
• The calorie ring now shows your zone at a glance: teal while you're under goal, yellow past it, red past your day's estimated burn.
• Recipes from MyRecipes show their ingredients in your preferred units, and the recipe editor can scan products straight into the ingredient list.
• Ingredient adjustments can no longer be lost to a stray swipe — the app asks before discarding.
• Plus clearer wording, a close button on the streak page, and plenty of small polish.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-06

• New: water widget with a + button — log a glass straight from your home screen
• New: steps on your Lock Screen
• Smarter calorie colours — dark green within 25 cal of goal, light green within 100, yellow beyond, red past your day's burn. Same scale everywhere.
• Fat mass entries now show in kilograms when you track by mass
• Fixed the diary occasionally showing yesterday after the app sat open overnight
• Widgets refresh more reliably, including right after midnight

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-25

MyMacros 1.0.1 — What's New:

• Edit a MyRecipes recipe right from the log sheet — change amounts, add or remove ingredients, and scan your own products (like your actual chicken stock) so the macros match what's in your kitchen. Changes sync back to MyRecipes.
• The AI label scanner now reads the whole panel — fibre, sugars, saturated fat and sodium.
• Fixing a food's nutrition now keeps every value, and your corrections always beat the database.
• New Energy Balance page: calories in vs your measured burn, weekly weight goal, and a zone that keeps you on pace.
• Goals setup wizard with suggested calories & macros, tuned to your weekly goal.
• Faster logging: foods log as you tick them, and your own foods appear first in search.
• Plus: body fat as % or kg, week-view charts by default, and lots of polish.
