## What is MYMCO?

Find the right people for your next mountain adventure.

MYMCO helps climbers, mountaineers, hikers and trekkers build their Mountain Profile, find compatible outdoor partners and plan what’s next.

Because in the mountains, who you go with matters as much as where you go.

Build your Mountain Profile
Bring your mountain experience into one place. Add your skills, experience, past climbs, goals and wishlist to create a profile that shows who you are in the mountains — and where you want to go next.

Find compatible partners
Discover people based on more than location or availability. MYMCO helps you find partners who align with your experience, skills, ambitions, fitness, timing and goals.

Plan what’s next
Create activities, choose where and when you want to go, find people interested in the same plans and start planning together.

Build your mountain network
MYMCO app isn’t just about finding someone for one climb. Build a trusted network of people you can climb, hike, train, travel and dream with over time.

FOR CLIMBERS, MOUNTAINEERS, HIKERS & SKI TOURERS

• Get matched on experience, grades, fitness and goals not just free dates

• Join trips by service providers, or plan your own and fill the spots

• See every participant's profile before you commit

• Build your climbing portfolio and wishlist of dream peaks

• Chat and stay connected with your group before day one

What makes MYMCO different

1. No more posting to strangers. No noise, no guessing. Just transparency and meaningful compatibility-based matches.
2. Global by default. You can meet people worldwide anytime or narrow down to a region and timeframe to grow your network prior to travel.
3. Compatibility over availability. Our algorithm prioritizes fit - experience, style, past climbs, goals and aspirations, not just who’s free.

Our Vision

MYMCO was born in the mountains - an idea that sparked on a Mont Blanc descent in 2023 and turned into a mission: to make finding the right partners safer, smarter, and more human, because going out there with people you click with has so much more to it than just going out there with people who happen to be available.

Our goal is simple: to build a trusted, global mountain community - one partnership, one climb, one story at a time. But the connection? For years.

Whether you’re chasing summits, training for your next big route, or just looking for people who share your passion with, MYMCO helps you find your company - your mountain company.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.24 — 2026-10-07

New in this version:
Less scrolling. More summiting.

• Find your next adventure: Discover now has separate tabs for Trips, Sessions and Events.
• Follow places: See activities at and around the places you follow.
• Know the plan: Clearer activity pages show location by place type, duration in hours or days, and start time. Your private activities are clearly marked, too.
• Set your start time: A simple wheel picker makes choosing a time easier. Alpine starts are still painfully early.
• Find your people: More complete profiles appear first in Connect. Complete yours to unlock compatibility.
• Stay in the loop: A new notification bell on Activities brings approvals and updates together.
• Keep chats clear: Activity chats are labelled Trip, Session or Event.

Plus fixes and polish inspired by your feedback. Thanks for pointing out the loose rocks.

### 1.6.23 — 2026-08-26

New: one activity flow for trips, indoor sessions and social events — pick the type, fill in only what matters.
Places, rebuilt from the ground up:
 • Search that finds what you mean — typos and accents welcome
 • Mountain ranges and regions are real places now: follow the whole Alps, or one crag
 • Every place has a page — see who's been there, who wants to go, and activities happening there
 • Add missing peaks, crags, gyms and trails yourself
Plus: your logbook shows every sport you've logged, smarter match insights on Connect, a faster chats tab, and many fixes.

### 1.6.21 — 2026-07-08

• Save trips as drafts — leave the trip builder anytime and pick up where you left off
• Add several logbook photos at once, and tap any photo to view it fullscreen
• Chats are now organised into People and Trips tabs
• Get notified when a trip you joined changes its dates or location — and when someone joins your trip
• Fixes: followed places now update instantly after a wishlist add; group preferences on trips are now respected

### 1.6.20 — 2026-07-04

Your logbook just got a lot richer — and it now works the same across every sport.

• Photos — add up to 3 photos to any logbook entry, whether you're climbing, mountaineering, hiking or ski touring.
• Tag your partners everywhere — record who you went with on any activity, not just climbs.
• A full cross-sport logbook — the interactive logbook and partner tagging now behave the same across all your sports.
• Automatic trip logging — finish a trip and we'll add it to your logbook, then nudge you to add photos and tag your crew.

Plus a round of polish and bug fixes. See you out there.

### 1.6.19 — 2026-06-14

Your wishlist just got real! Wishlist items are now actual places — tap one to see who else dreams of going there and which trips are headed that way. Add any crag, peak or trail we don't have yet and it becomes part of MYMCO.
