MYMCO helps you connect with climbers, mountaineers, hikers, and outdoor dreamers through compatibility, not chance. Because in the mountains, who you go with matters as much as where you go.

MYMCO is the first app built to connect climbers, mountaineers, hikers, and outdoor adventurers in a smarter, more human way. Not through chance, endless group chats, trip posts or simple availability, but through real compatibility - in skills, goals, experience, mindset, and more. We’re starting with mountaineers, where the stakes are the highest, and will gradually expand to other outdoor sports.

We're not just helping you find a one-off climbing/hiking partner, we’re helping you build your own mountain network - a circle of trusted, like-minded partners you can climb, train, and dream with over time.

How it works

Define who you are, what are your ambitions, and we’ll handle the rest. The more you share, the better our algorithm understands you and what you’re looking for.

1. Create your profile
Share your interests, experience, goals, portfolio, wishlist peaks/regions etc. 

2. Set a destination and timeframe
Choose where and when you want to go next — from a nearby weekend trip to a future expedition. By default, MYMCO is global, so you can connect with people worldwide, but you can narrow down to a specific area and time window.

3. Get compatibility-based matches
See suggested partners ranked by how well your profiles align, not by proximity alone.
Those who share your timing, ambitions, and energy appear higher in your list. As you update your profile, your suggestions adjust too.

4. Connect & plan together
Send connection requests, chat, and start planning your next climb or trip directly in the app. Build trust before you even rope up.

Our Vision

MYMCO was born in the mountains - an idea that sparked on a Mont Blanc descent in 2023 and turned into a mission: to make finding the right partners safer, smarter, and more human, because going out there with people you click with has so much more to it than just going out there with people who happen to be available. 

Our goal is simple: to build a trusted, global mountain community - one partnership, one climb, one story at a time. But the connection? For years.

• Save trips as drafts — leave the trip builder anytime and pick up where you left off
• Add several logbook photos at once, and tap any photo to view it fullscreen
• Chats are now organised into People and Trips tabs
• Get notified when a trip you joined changes its dates or location — and when someone joins your trip
• Fixes: followed places now update instantly after a wishlist add; group preferences on trips are now respected

Your logbook just got a lot richer — and it now works the same across every sport.

• Photos — add up to 3 photos to any logbook entry, whether you're climbing, mountaineering, hiking or ski touring.
• Tag your partners everywhere — record who you went with on any activity, not just climbs.
• A full cross-sport logbook — the interactive logbook and partner tagging now behave the same across all your sports.
• Automatic trip logging — finish a trip and we'll add it to your logbook, then nudge you to add photos and tag your crew.

Your wishlist just got real! Wishlist items are now actual places — tap one to see who else dreams of going there and which trips are headed that way. Add any crag, peak or trail we don't have yet and it becomes part of MYMCO.

Climbing has arrived in MYMCO.
Plan climbing trips (sport, trad & multi-pitch, indoor or outdoor, with grades), log your ascents in a dedicated climbing logbook, and credit the partners who belayed you — your climbs appear in their logbook too. Your upcoming trips now help other climbers find you, and we've made logbook entries richer and tappable across all activities.
