I had a question and emailed the developer's site. I got an immediate response. (I couldn't figure out how to measure distance without the area measurement.) His answer "Pull up the layers dialog (top of the 6 icons on the right of the screen and use the setting called “Type”. It defaults to area, but tap it once to change to length." The accuracy is very good based on the comparisons I've made in measuring plots. Currently, I'm measuring the "as the crow flies" distance between a farm and a nearby corn plot. Don't hesitate and download it. I only wish that there was a way to measure in one step the area in the adjusted circle instead of having to drop flags manually. It's so frustrating to not be able to clear a selected area once drawn. However, last week, I began receiving an error whenever I searched for an address. The error says "Search error: bad key" This is apparently an API access issue, but the one star review is due to the combination of this error and the customer support email bouncing as undeliverable. An update to the developer contact information and resolution of the search error will warrant a five-star review from me. ### 1/5 — Can't get any help or response from the developer. *2013-03-16, version 1.6* I wrote the developer on 3 occasions and not one of them has been delivered. They have a bogus email address to send support inquiries to. It's been more than a week and so far it keeps attempting to deliver but can't. When I try to search an address, all I get when I hit Search is an error that says, "Bad Key." It's absolutely worthless unless the developer can get me complaint and fix the problem. Don't waste any of your money on this thing. No service so it has no value. ### 1/5 — Junk *2013-03-16, version 1.6* This app does not perform well on iOS 6 -- I should have noted the last update in 2011. There are definitely much better apps than this clunky limited zoom concoction.
