## What is MyMeds?

MyMeds reminds you to take your medicine — and actually goes off.

A loud, repeating alarm at every dose time, and you decide how often it repeats. Mark a dose as taken straight from the notification, without opening the app.

SEE WHAT YOU ARE TAKING
Add a photo of the box or the pill, and the reason you take it. When the reminder arrives you see the medicine, not a generic alert — which matters when you take several a day, or when the print on the box is small.

SCAN THE BOX
Point the camera at the box and MyMeds reads the brand name and the scientific name off the packaging, keeps the photo, and lets you confirm before saving. On your phone only — nothing is sent anywhere.

BUILT FOR ARABIC, NOT TRANSLATED INTO IT
Choose English or العربية on first launch, and change it any time. The whole app mirrors right to left, with proper Modern Standard Arabic throughout.

SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY
Send today's doses or your latest readings to your family on WhatsApp in one tap. Useful when someone is helping a parent from another house, or another city.

DOSES THE WAY THEY ARE ACTUALLY PRESCRIBED
• Several times a day, at the times you choose
• Every other day, or every few days
• Every few hours
• As needed
• Half and quarter tablets
• Liquids in ml, with the strength in mg
• Courses that finish on a set date

BLOOD PRESSURE AND BLOOD SUGAR
Record your readings and keep them in one place with your medicines. Both mmol/L and mg/dL. Your latest reading sits on the main screen, and your history is never trimmed.

MADE TO BE READABLE
Large text support throughout, high contrast, and generous buttons. Works in light and dark.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No ads. No analytics. Your information stays on your device and syncs through your own iCloud, where we cannot see it.

MYMEDS PLUS — OPTIONAL
Everything above stays free, always, for as many medicines as you like: reminders, alarms, photos, blood pressure and blood sugar logging, and WhatsApp sharing. Nothing you already rely on moves behind a subscription.

MyMeds Plus adds:
• Profiles — keep several people separate, each with their own medicines and readings
• Doctor summary — a PDF of your medicines, how many doses you took, and your readings, to take to an appointment
• Trends — charts of doses taken, blood pressure and blood sugar over time
• Tapering courses, and cycles of days on followed by days off

$2.99 per month, or $19.99 per year with the first 7 days free (US pricing — your own price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy). Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store settings.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-26

Prominent medication alarms are here.

Turn them on in Settings to get an alarm at each dose time—even when Focus or Silent Mode is on. Test the alarm before relying on it. Regular reminders still show the medicine and dose, and taking, skipping, or snoozing a dose now updates both reminders together.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-21

Times a day, one tap.

Setting up “3 times a day” is now one tap: choose how many times a day and MyMeds fills in sensible, evenly spaced times you can still adjust. Cycle schedules (days on, days off) can now have more than one time a day too.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-17

Scan the box.

Point the camera at a medicine box and MyMeds reads the brand name and the scientific name off the packaging, keeps the photo, and asks you to confirm before saving. Everything happens on your phone — nothing is sent anywhere. Every medicine can now carry its scientific name, shown on the medicine screen and on the doctor summary.

The camera permission prompt is now in Arabic for Arabic users.
