### 2/5 — 2FA is a mess

*2025-05-08, version 2.3.5*

There is no way to remember my device or add a 2FA code to my password manager so every single time I open the app, I have to send a text code.

### 3/5 — Not upgrade for better.

*2025-05-07*

This is not upgraded to be better or user-friendly. Doesn’t show your payments immediately. It waits until insurance has approved which takes a long time. Not easy to link your other accounts and doesn’t show your other accounts. You have to go all the way out in order to pull up links for UAMS or Baptist etc.. hopefully it gets better and I can upgrade my rating to 5. The old mercy app was better.

### 3/5 — Can’t mark all as read

*2025-04-01*

I’m a chronic patient over 7 years in treatment. I need a way to mark all messages and test results as “read” so that I’m only seeing new alerts. Please make this enhancement! I miss new alerts, results and messages because I don’t have time to go back seven years to mark them all.

### 2/5 — Previous app much better

*2025-02-12, version 2.3.2*

Really dislike the new version and don’t know why people find the need to ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken. What exactly is new/updated other than the annoying need to enter a security code each time log in? I get it, better security, but can’t you ask once and then have the option to chose ‘trusted device’ like with 2FA on iPhone, Gmail, etc?

### 4/5 — Too small to use on an iPad

*2024-12-31*

Needs to be reworked to allow full screen portrait and landscape modes use on tablets

Update: after the last iOS update this app now works in full screen. YAY! Thanks

**Developer response:** Please be sure you have updated to the most recent version for the best iPad experience. Contact MyMercyHelp@Mercy.net with any questions. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 1/5 — Inefficient, unorganized, incomplete

*2024-12-31, version 2.3.0*

This app is exactly like the old, except it requires more clicks, and wastes screen space. When I first opened it, it gave me a choice of FOUR extremely old emails I long stopped using years ago.
First MAJOR complaint: Why would they have these still, and certainly why use them when they aren’t attached to the account in any fashion?
SECOND: I had almost 30 deleted messages now reappear from years ago, that say they are UNREAD. There is no way to select “Read” status and one by one I had to open each one.
THIRD: It. Is. So. Slow! To close a message takes 10 seconds. Multiply that times the 30 unread messages…. The old app did not do this. That’s 5 minutes to fix a problem that should not have existed to start. Add more, each time it refreshes it takes you back to the top of the messages, so this adds more scrolling time for every message you read.
Someone apparently duped Mercy to fund a new (and VERY unneeded) app. No one has said what they are doing with old info, and if a new company is responsible, or is it the same?? Now is our info shared with two app companies and their partners?? Is mercy asking the old contractors to destroy the data? I bet not.
Add more woes: if you manage an elder parent account, the App “updates your Face ID” for the login. We should be able to use the app to log into our parents accounts as authorized users (I am). The update Face ID shouldn’t be replaced. It should have its own.
When you briefly leave the app after logging in, it abruptly boots you out. Please allow us to briefly change screens to copy and paste when we are communicating to our doctors.
Every time I contact the technical team via app, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they tell you to call, despite my message I’ve already indicated I’ve done this and they can’t help.
Mercy CS has gotten SO bad I’m considering switching my parents and I to a competing medical system.
Last, but not least, if you’re going to upgrade 2FA, then upgrade to rolling code Authy… you’re still behind Mercy. 🙄
Update after developer response - “logging in/out/app updating” was not the problem. This was a New app! It took 4 phone calls, a supervisor, and my escalating a ticket (twice), to remove the 2 deceased people and FOUR 8 yr old emails (and hadn’t appeared for YEARS). suggestions: give users ability to see all this data you’ve been hiding. Other hospital systems give users full control - currently Nercy patients MUST see a doctor to remove emails or make medicine list updates. Even when you supposedly do this in the web or app, what you do in reality is put it in a queue for your doctor to approve the change. Essentially - you see the email removed - but until the doctor approves this, the old emails are STILL actually on your account. And can be for years as what I was told happened to resolve this. Why does s provider need to approve my removing my email?? Why would my contact info web or app, say differently than what Mercy stores?? The developer response was a cookie cutter non-answer.

### 1/5 — Tried it

*2024-12-28, version 2.3.0*

Tried it a couple months ago. Was a an issue using it so deleted it and stayed with the current app

### 1/5 — Deleted Reviews

*2024-12-27*

You deleted reviews to make yourself look better??? What a low life hack. No character. No integrity. Shame on you and shame on Mercy!!!! You apparently agree with horrible you are compared with the current MyMercy chart from EPIC. I REFUSE TO USE THIS APP. MERCY will be getting TONS of calls and printing my bills and mailing them because I will no longer use paperless.

**Developer response:** Hello - we believe in transparency and did not delete reviews. You may be viewing the desktop version of the app store, which is only showing a few reviews. However, the mobile version of the app store listing includes all reviews going back to August. We're not sure why the desktop version is different. We value all feedback and appreciate yours.

### 1/5 — Wow, the reviews are NOT wrong

*2024-12-18*

This is horrible. And it hurts to use…
My favorite part of Mercy was MyMercy, and if this is their new app, count me out! The main feed is GONE and everything it had to help me stay on top of my health and my kid’s health is GONE. no more notices or notifications and it all lags, and I can’t see my husband’s stuff anymore. Thank goodness the other Mymercy app is still there (5 star!) what are you all doing???

**Developer response:** To see information for your proxies (children, spouses, etc.), click the arrow next to your name and select your family member. If you have additional questions, please contact MyMercyHelp@mercy.net . Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-12-16*

I’ve yet to be able to get anything except the home page to open. If you click on any option it just cycles and never connects. The original app was much better

**Developer response:** We apologize that this experience was not up to our standards and would like to help. Please contact MyMercyHelp@Mercy.net for assistance. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 2/5 — Use the old MyMercy app

*2024-12-13*

First MyMercy app is still available. Redownload that and use it until the super-clunky navigation is fixed. Too many previous features are now hard to find deep in unintuitive menus.

Great style/brand improvements, but negative “improvements” on user experience.

### 1/5 — Hate it

*2024-12-11, version 2.2.9*

I have no ideas why you changed it, but this is not customer friendly at all. No words to describe how bad it is.

### 1/5 — TRASH and UNNECESSARY

*2024-12-08*

The original app was great. Not sure how we were “upgraded” to an app that isn’t even functional. Every tab is broken with a “too many html redirects” error message. Please don’t decommission the original app anytime soon. This one still needs a ton of work. Go back and figure out what was done RIGHT from the beginning- if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.

### 1/5 — Patient

*2024-12-06, version 2.2.9*

This app is not designed well. The old app was much better and easier to use. It wasn’t broken, so there want need to fix it.

### 4/5 — Decent App

*2024-12-06*

I’m sure why Mercy felt they needed a new App, but here we are. The new app is fine. So far I’ve not had any issues. Seems fairly well organized, however, there is not an easy way to clear out old messages from a few years back. I’m sure Mercy will make updates to fix issues.

### 2/5 — New App is terrible!!

*2024-12-03*

I’m not real sure why it was necessary to completely build a new app. The old one functioned just fine. Now It is very difficult to even schedule an appointment thru the new app. Messaging is much worse.
Others have complained that messaging is showing new messages yet they can’t find them. I discovered the new messages were from a couple of years ago and once I “re-read” them then the notification went away but I shouldn’t have had to do that, complete waste of my time.
Still a lot of work to do on this app.

**Developer response:** We apologize that this experience was not up to our standards. Please update to the latest version – the notification bug has been addressed. Thank you for your feedback, and for choosing Mercy.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — AWFUL

*2025-05-22*

This new app is complete garbage. I can’t look up after visit summaries. It keeps telling me that the page that I’m trying to locate can’t be found for me, my husband, and my children. Notifications don’t go away after you’ve read them. It’s not user-friendly. It really is a pain when you’re trying to find medical history for your child and it’s impossible to find. It almost makes me want to stop going to Mercy altogether just because of the app. If I could give this review 0 stars I would.

### 1/5 — Not an update

*2025-02-27*

This new app is not the best! It doesn’t tell me when I get a message until a day or two after. This is not an update. I missed an important update from my doctor. Also, I have my family members on the app, I used to get notifications of my proxy having a message, this time there is nothing that indicates who got a message so I have to search through my msgs and my proxy’s to see. Please FIX this!

### 1/5 — Does nothing the original app doesn’t already do better

*2025-02-11*

Requires 2FA at every login with no option to change. I was advised that I can disable 2FA, which seems to imply you can disable it for this app, but what they mean is that you can disable 2FA on your entire account, and I’m not interested in doing that.

Among other issues… if I send a message on the MyMercy website, MyMercy+ alerts me that I have a new message in my account… yeah… the message *I* sent. I really hope they don’t get rid of the original app.

**Developer response:** Multi-factor authentication (2FA) is optional and can be turned on or off in Settings. From the Menu, go to Settings and then Two Factor Authentication. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-02-11*

I’ve yet to be able to get anything except the home page to open. If you click on any option it just cycles and never connects. The original app was much better

**Developer response:** We apologize that this experience was not up to our standards and would like to help. Please contact MyMercyHelp@Mercy.net for assistance. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 1/5 — Doesn't even let me see my kids results

*2025-01-16, version 2.3.0*

This is by far the worst app. You can't read your results because it constantly says "error" and kicks you from the app. 0/10

### 1/5 — Why so different?

*2025-01-14, version 2.3.0*

My other MyChart apps are set up the same way and easy to maneuver. Why is this one so different? It’s was much better when they were all similar to each other!

### 1/5 — App experience

*2025-01-11, version 2.3.0*

My mercy is far superior!
Viewing inpatient stay information is lacking

### 1/5 — Awful!

*2025-01-07, version 2.3.0*

I cannot even send a message to the Dr’s office. Everything says this service is not available.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-01-02*

The app forcing you to verify with SMS or email EVERY TIME you open the app is terrible.

Edit reply to developer: I want two factor authentication! I do not want to be forced to sign in every time I open the app on my own phone. It’s my phone, stay signed in!

**Developer response:** Multi-factor authentication (2FA) is optional and can be turned on or off in Settings. From the Menu, go to Settings and then Two Factor Authentication. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Mercy.

### 1/5 — Was a great app but not anymore

*2025-01-01*

The old version of this app was one of the reasons I preferred using Mercy over other health systems. Since they updated the application it constantly crashes while trying to read lab results, read messages, or scheduling appointments. This app is one of the worse apps that I’ve ever used. Also, my app is already up to date with no improvements.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Can’t Open App-Can Now

*2024-12-19*

Initially 1star: Downloaded since the MyMercy app said this was the new app. I try to open it & see a page for about 0.5 second & it closes. Not ready for prime time-not even close.

App apparently has been revised and I now can log in. It seems to work OK.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the temporary downtime that occurred around the time of your review. We would appreciate if you could update to the latest version and log in again. Please contact MyMercyHelp@Mercy.net if you need any further assistance. Thank you for choosing Mercy.

### 5/5 — Happy to see iPad layout

*2024-12-18, version 2.2.9*

Thanks for updating with an iPad layout.

### 5/5 — Love the new app!

*2024-12-12*

MyMercy + is a super convenient tool to schedule, communicate with my care team, order meds and complete online check in quickly. This last piece has especially saved me a lot of time in the waiting room.

### 5/5 — Online patients

*2024-12-12, version 2.2.9*

Fantastic

### 5/5 — Oldguy1951

*2024-11-14*

The new updated version is not an update, it is a retrograde! Appointments still show after completion, results from tests can’t be read as it refers to something that wants you to search for a result or just errors out. I’m certainly disappointed with this latest version and hope a totally reworked version is coming!

### 5/5 — Great Update

*2024-10-26, version 2.2.8*

I see a couple reviews say it’s just more marketing. It’s not those are lies. This version of the app is improved from the prior one that was blue. It loads faster, has a new UI, and works exactly like the old one. It’s refreshing. Use the app, log in and try it. Just remember the username and password to log in. If needed just reset your password using the forgot password link. Else this has no issues for me.

### 5/5 — Frictionless Experience!

*2024-09-17*

Loving the new look and feel! Easy to navigate! 😀

### 5/5 — Excellent Update!

*2024-09-13*

Great user experience! Love the new design! Easy to navigate!

### 5/5 — What you need, when you need it!

*2024-09-03*

Great way to search for doctors and find appointments quickly!

### 5/5 — Much improved

*2024-08-23*

Easier to navigate and find information.
