Adding bank account will not work. Pending charges result in double payment. That whole company is useless. ### 1/5 — Biometrics *2022-11-30, version 1.2.0* Biometric login isn’t working. Asks for passcode instead. What a major inconvenience. App has no permissions or settings. Never thought I would say spectrum does better in regards to service and there app but looks like I need to eat the crow on that. Recommend using their online portal for your account access. Needs a total overhaul. Metronet internet service is really pretty good other than their internet status reporting during outages. Keep working to improve Metronet. You could be a great company with minimal effort. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Better than portal online *2021-05-12, version 1.1.1* At quick look, it appears that it runs significantly faster than their portal online, which is my main complaint about their online system is how slow it runs. The app is quick. Gets the job done. ### 3/5 — No PDF downloads *2021-05-15, version 1.1.1* It provides basic info of your bills but that’s just the basic, you can’t download or see the pdf statement or the details of your bill. Still, it’s better then nothing, and way faster then the web version. ### 2/5 — Payment Failures *2024-01-02* As others have said, this app is not ready for prime time. You might as well just use the website. There is no biometric login option, so you always have to remember your password. I got it just to pay my bill on my phone, and every time I tried it, loaded a “payment failure” screen. I was able to go to the website and make a payment there moments later, so I know it’s not a problem with my credit card. ### 2/5 — Should be better *2022-12-04, version 1.2.0* This app ought to be useful, but it isn't really. * The authentication won't use biometrics and didn't leave a signature that a password app can look up, so it's a pain to log in. * Paying your bill will fail about 50% of the time... Although some of those failures actually go through, so you'll need double charged. * That's about it. The app does little else. Why 2 stars? It works ok. It's not like it totally fails or worse.
