### 2/5 — Billing

*2026-08-28, version 11.8.3*

I’m tired of constantly remind Mount Siani that my 1199 SEIU Insurance pays my bills regarding Medical Care

### 2/5 — Can’t join video visits

*2026-08-19, version 11.7.4*

Second time in two months had a telehealth appointment and logged into MyMount Sinai. Never got through to the visit for two different Doctors appointments. Can’t call an office to tell them of the difficulties

### 4/5 — Does not work overseas. VPN needed

*2026-08-18, version 11.7.4*

The app does not connect from outside US. For example I am traveling in Europe and want to pay my bill or see my test results. I cannot without a VPN app on my phone. I imagine the app owners did this for security. But I’d argue that downloading a sketchy VPN makes the app less secure than the vanilla app running on iOS. This happens only with MtSinai. My other MyChart providers do not have the same problem

### 2/5 — Not a good option for those who are AuDHD.

*2026-07-24, version 11.7.4*

While app accessibility simplifies scheduling, it can be very challenging for those with intellectual disabilities. There can be a lot of moving parts, including myriad referrals, messages, texts, and phone calls which can be crushing. The default should not be “free access” for all referrals to contact patient, it should be the reverse. It is very deleterious and irresponsible of Mt. Sinai to proceed without taking us with needs in consideration.

### 2/5 — No Go

*2026-07-21, version 11.7.4*

I’m entered, prescriptions, too. But then nothing else works. I can’t send a message or request a refill.

### 5/5 — Peter Schepper

*2026-07-20, version 11.7.4*

I owe my health and wellbeing able to Mount Sinai! Not just my physical health (which includes dental and psychological), But also my sobriety. They’ve helped me tackle my struggle with drugs and alcohol! I don’t know what I would do without Dr. Weiner, Dr. Fishberg, and the rest of the exemplary staff.

### 5/5 — Mount Sinai Provides Excellent Care

*2026-07-11, version 11.7.4*

The two most important factors I use in my choice seeking physicians for healing include excellent listening skills, and compassion for patients. Thank you to everyone who has helped me.

### 2/5 — In patient hospital message sucks

*2026-07-08, version 11.7.4*

In the hospital and was told I could message the hospital and team. But there was no reply option. I told the staff they said yeah that happens.
Also to get test results have to press test result close it then press it again for it to load.
Besides that everything else is o

### 5/5 — Dr Kira Manusis is 10 Star!!!

*2026-06-17, version 11.7.4*

I recently underwent cataract surgery with Dr. Kira Manusis, and team at NY Eye and Ear. While I was very apprehensive, Dr. Manusis, met with me and was very detailed in her examination with testing. Her team has very intricate machines that are able to accurately pinpoint issues and problems. The whole experience was amazingly easy and I felt very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Manusis, and her team!!! I would give them 20 stars if I could.

### 5/5 — Service

*2026-06-11, version 11.7.4*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Professionalism. Expertise. Kindness.

*2026-06-06, version 11.7.4*

My experience with Mount Sinai was exceptional from start to finish. The professionalism of every staff member was evident in every interaction. The expertise of the physicians and care team inspired confidence and reassurance, and their attention to detail was outstanding.

What stood out most, however, was the kindness shown throughout the process. Everyone took the time to listen, answer questions, and provide care with genuine compassion and respect. It is rare to find an organization that combines such high levels of professionalism, medical expertise, and human kindness so seamlessly.

Thank you to the entire Mount Sinai team for delivering outstanding care and making a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

### 5/5 — Dr. Emmer

*2026-05-20, version 11.7.4*

I highly recommend this doctor. He is very dedicated, concerned about my health, my medications and overall just a great human being!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bill/Payment is very confusing

*2026-08-26, version 11.8.3*

Bill/Payment is very confusing and hard to understand .

### 1/5 — * Patient Review: Violations of Trust, Consent, and Care Do not go yeti this hospital or to CubaHil

*2026-06-29, version 11.7.4*

I had a family member contact Mount Sinai Health System to obtain my medical records after I returned home. The records were delivered free of charge by an employee who happens to live in my town, which has raised serious concerns for me regarding privacy and proper handling of my protected medical information.

I originally requested my records because I believe there may have been fraud, misconduct, and possible violations involving a physician at Mount Sinai Health System.

This doctor reviewed my case and told me I urgently needed a procedure. The procedure was then canceled twice because he went on vacation. Three months later, I finally underwent surgery. However, what was done during surgery does not appear to match what I was told beforehand or what I consented to.

I gave consent only for an emergency double dye test to determine whether I had a fistula or hole involving my kidney, ureter, or bladder. That was the procedure I understood and agreed to.

Instead, I believe something entirely different occurred. I feel I was used as a teaching case without my knowledge or consent. My partner saw the doctor in the hallway during my procedure and asked the nurse, “Isn’t he the doctor doing the surgery?” The nurse responded that someone else was finishing up.

After surgery, the doctor never called me. There was no proper post-operative follow-up, no explanation, and no antibiotics prescribed. I was left with unanswered questions, confusion, and significant emotional distress.

I feel violated. I believe my rights as a patient may have been ignored, including my right to informed consent, privacy, and proper medical care.

I am now questioning whether Mount Sinai Health System should be formally notified of these concerns, and whether this matter should also be reported to the Office of the New York State Attorney General and/or the appropriate inspector or oversight agency for investigation.

### 1/5 — One star

*2026-06-12, version 11.7.4*

One star for how terrible the facilities are and all the data they collect in the app that isn’t relevant to your care.

### 1/5 — Useless checkin process - just a waste of time

*2026-05-22, version 11.7.4*

The app is generally ok and trending in the right direction. However, even according to their own front desk staff, the checkin on the app is very useless. You still have to do a checkin at their front desk, they ask you the same questions, they dispute if a co pay was already made - the app very clearly says so and so does my card statement - and they waste your time again.

Showing them the QR code that signals completion of the checkin just leads to “no, that only shows you are not complete.

Whoever designed that process should be fired immediately. Of course, that includes and should start with the responsible Director/Officer/EVP or whatever fancy title the most senior person in that chain has. Designing such a useless process and wasting significant amounts of corporate money and patients time is criminally bad.

This is 2026 and very mediocre AI can do this better.

Very disappointing!

### 1/5 — No acknowledgment!

*2026-03-24, version 11.5.2*

Left message over 10 days and no one replied!!!

### 1/5 — Poor user experience

*2026-03-09, version 11.5.2*

Poorly design, slow, hard to use

### 1/5 — Communication

*2026-03-09, version 11.5.2*

So the app tried to force us to communicate via text or message. The dr’s do not want to use it and take 2-3 weeks to respond (if they even do). It is frustrating for sure!

### 1/5 — Treating people as billing categories not patients

*2026-02-17, version 11.5.2*

All said and done

### 1/5 — Reprehensible

*2026-01-27, version 11.5.2*

The epitome of anti-medicine. Shame.

### 1/5 — The worst surgery team

*2026-01-07, version 11.5.2*

I will never go to Mount Sinai again they left me there in pain I was in 8 east bed 21 A
